Sen Grill - Piatti

We were looking for something to eat and we went to Sen grill. It was a pleasant surprise! Amazing food, big positions and really friendly staff. We definitely recommend that place.

We've been in Vienna for Christmas Market in December 2018. We searched for a place to eat nearby and we found Sen Grill Restaurant. Very good food, fresh ,sour, the staff is very friendly even if they don't speak English we managed to understand each other. We recommend you to try!

We were looking for a decent Turkish and wanted the best food rather than the best looking restaurant. The food was first class and really good value. Ate here twice and couldn’t fault it. The staff are friendly and the food freshly prepared and cooked whilst you wait. We had chicken breast with chips, salad and a delicious yogurt dip. Second night we had chicken skewers. With a beer each it came to under €30. The portions are very big and piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10.

Was a very cold November evening, we were tired from walking Vienna, did not want fussy food.Owner was very pleasant & spoke good English; ordered starters including feta stuffed pastries, which were very good - ALL 5 OF THEM!!!Grilled chicken & minced lame kebabs, came with chips, dips, salad & bread.Absolutely huge portions, advise you share & order more if still hungry.

We were looking for somewhere simple and pleasant to eat. Sen was far better then expected. The waitress spoke excellent English and was very helpful. We had a beer each as we chose from the Turkish influenced menu. A shared starter and a kebab each were selected. The food was fresh, well prepared and we had more than plenty to eat. Kein klassisches Döner-Lokal, obwohl es groß am Schild steht. Das Fleisch kommt vom Bio Bauern, der Inhaber zeigt einem auch gerne das Zertifikat. Neben den Klassikern gibt es jeden Tag zwei Menüs mit Suppe und Brot. Das vegetarische ist ebenso ausgezeichnet wie das mit Fleisch. Die Besitzer sind eine entzückende Familie, das ganze Viertel mag sie. Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Lokal! Nicht von der Einrichtung abschrecken lassen, die ist etwas kitschig.

We stopped in at the Sen Grill while walking back to our hotel from Old Vienna. For lunch we had falafel. While waiting for our order we watched them make the falafel from scratch and noted that the menu had other interesting items. We returned for supper and had salad with chicken and the chicken dinner respectively. Both were fresh and of good quality. The portions were generous. While eating I noticed that others were eating other items that I would consider as well; these included fresh fish, soups and a large mixer grill. This was not fine dining but good eating.

Da ich in Wien wohne, habe ich das große Glück so oft ich Lust habe, das Sen Grill Restaurant aufzusuchen. Das ist türkische Küche auf sehr sehr hohem Niveau, die unbeschreiblich gut schmeckt (so hat man es noch nie erlebt) und mit einer ausserordentlichen Leidenschaft zubereitet wird. Das Rind ist aus Tirol und das Huhn ist ein Biohuhn. Die Fleischspieße werden jeden Tag mit frischem (!!!) Fleisch vor- und zubereitet und das Brot wird selbst gebacken. Ich empfehle allen, die dieses Lokal besuchen, den Iskender Kebab zu probieren. Sie werden begeistert sein. Das Gericht ist so stimmig, dass einem beim Essen die Worte wegbleiben.
