Lovely lunch at the seven wells pub… all the staff are always really friendly and the food is second to none… with a brilliant choice of drinks always available

We had a lovely roast dinner that was made even better by the great table service. We were attended to by Chloe, who was super polite, professional and very friendly. Perfect.

I had a wonderful evening with friends at this restaurant last night. We all ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly, just as we requested. The service was fantastic - our server, whose name I didn't catch, was lovely and very attentive. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Good choice of Sunday roasts. Vegetarian option excellent. Service swift. Food hot as were the plates. Desserts sticky toffee pudding with bourbon was delicious. Apple crumble was disappointing. It was only a half inch deep and was tasteless. Such a pity. Would recommend the restaurant as have been many times before

Stunning meals, first time here for some of us as we were passing through. One of our party recommended here as they visited previous. We all ordered steaks and they were delivered to perfection medium rare! Not many places care about how they cook a steak these days but this was wow factor. Having booked for a large group last minute after another establishment let us down we weren't sure what to expect on a busy Sunday lunch. But the food, staff and organisation were 100% spot on and we had fantastic feedback from everyone in our party-the roasts in particular were exceptional and all dietary requirements easily catered for. Very impressed and will certainly be back.

The service at Seven Wells was absolutely terrible. The waiters and waitresses need better management and training. I had to ask for service three times. The food was okay, but some in our party had to request gravy and Yorkshire puddings that were supposed to be included according to the menu. No one checked our order or asked if everything was okay. It was like watching children in a playground. We will not be returning. We have been to Seven Wells several times before and always enjoyed the food and service. Has it recently changed ownership?

However, the following morning I experienced stomach cramps followed by diarrhoea that lasted for three days. My wife had a similar reaction a few hours later. I contacted Green King Guest services through their website to report our illness, but since we didn't have a food or stool sample to prove that the steak was the cause, they denied any responsibility. Guest relations suggested that we had contracted the bug elsewhere and sent a standard denial letter claiming their establishment was clean and perfect. I am not one to complain frequently, as my review history will show. However, I believe Green King should focus on retaining customers without avoiding liability in such situations. Visualizza piatti
