It is always an experience at the YU Garden Hamburg restaurant in Feldbrunnenstraße. 67 to go to dinner. The Chinese plant behind the Markk Museum am Rothenbaum, which is a gift from Hamburg’s partner city Shanghai, is something very special. The delicious food is always a matter of course and the friendly, attentive staff anyway.

Beautiful spot for outside dining. Excellent friendly service. Appetizers were great, but we were disappointed by two of our main dishes. They both looked like they has used the same generic “brown” sauce. In one they eliminated green/red peppers (Paprika) and hot peppers, while in the other one they didn’t. The duck with pineapple was very good. I should have requested Hoisin sauce on the side.
