Shirley Kebab House

It must have been served in less than a minute...a dirty early morning kebab with salad...not bad when you've had a skinful...sure I'll be seeing it again soon

Don't go when you are drunk. They rip you off. The large cod I received was small and cost £4.50. It was not worth £2.50 it was the last fish in the shop hence £4.50.

staff are abrupt and rude. order was wrong and when you call back to ask for then to make it right they blame you for not being clear. sub standard food. extra charges for sauce on chips etc. total RIP off, unhygienic and should be avoided.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant earlier, enjoying the masala fish and chips and chicken breast burger for £14.50. Later, we tried the 2 mixed donner wraps for only £8, which were excellent. If you prefer your chips soggy, don't forget to ask for extra vinegar. The service is always good and the staff are fabulous.

Check your order before leaving. They leave stuff out. £35 order for home. Some missing. Quick phone call to ask if they can deliver it as people without food to be told no drivers, come and collect it. Went to collect it . . . I won't go anywhere else for a kebab. The new special, now called the Shirley K Special is brilliant! Not for the faint of heart mind you... it's a lot of food. Too nice for me to share but a more generous person might be able to feed another person with it... The meat is good, fat-free lamb, freshly cooked on a skewer over a grill, good quality chicken, freshly baked, handmade naan. I drive 25 minutes to get it rather than order delivery.

I ordered a kebab and chips from this restaurant. The kebab was the smallest I have ever seen and the pitta was soggy, making the whole dish look unappetizing. The portion of chips was huge, but they were undercooked and cold. I was surprised to find that the chips were more of a chippy style, which I did not expect from a kebab house. Additionally, the restaurant only accepts cash as payment, which was not mentioned when I placed my order. It makes me wonder who they are trying to hide from with a cash-only business.

After using Shirley kebab House since 1989 traveling many miles over the years to get my guilty pleasure it will be the last visit I make 15/01/2022 the quality of the chicken (all bone) is as bad as other kebab Houses the kebabs are now not worth the money including the salad and sauces that I've always had separate now have been scaled back and £10 for a new special to jump from £8.50 (already over priced for the size quality which has dropped since lock down 1) I could visit a local premises closer to home 11 miles actually and receive nicer and hotter food, unfortunately SKH has over priced it self hence why at 22.30 there were no other customers where before we would have to wait to ord...
