Shish Turkish - Piatti

My friend and I go here every month for our catch up and always order the same thing Lamb Chops and Ribs and Lamb Ribs. The meat is always cooked to our liking. I have yet to try other dishes, but I would recommend this quaint restaurant to friends, family and strangers.

I ordered a mixed gril which was 4 piece lamb and 4 piece chicken and chips. That's it. Compared to other mixed grill very small portion. Average restaurant poor decor downstairs. Asked for no salted chips. Waitress telling me every restaurant does chips with salt which was not necessary. Visualizza piatti

Food's great Turkish food! But there are improvements to make: too dark inside and the décor needs to be updated too, it doesn't feel like the atmosphere and décor matches the amazing food they have to offer. Also, they need to speed up the main, from when they serve the starters. Otherwise, great food, great friendly service. Will be happy to go again- but I hope they pick up on the constructive criticisms to make their place even better!

I am sorry to say but I did not enjoy this restaurant at all, the food was terrible, the atmosphere was not at all satisfying and the restaurant just did not look nice. They describe themselves as as Turkish restaurant which is just wrong of them as the food taste and flavor was not up to scratch for it to be a Turkish cuisine. It was more of a really weird take on Indian food and spices. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I left there just about an hour ago and my stomach feels funny.

The customer service at this restaurant was terrible. I waited 45 minutes for my food, which turned out to be below average. I ordered a platter and fresh burgers, but was disappointed to find that the burger rolls and meats were burnt to a crisp. When I complained about the wait time and the quality of the food, I was simply told that the restaurant was busy. There was no effort to address my concerns or make things right. Have just moved to the area and me and my partner love Turkish kebabs and so thought we'd try a takeaway from Shish and will never be getting food from there again. Firstly I lucky checked the food before we left and they'd left off our hallumi side. When we got home we realised my partners order was wrong but it was to late to take back. All of the food was cold, the salad compromised of mostly raw onion and soggy lettuce. There was so little meat in both of the kebabs and was mainly tofu which wasn't stated on the menu and me and my partner are not fans. Over priced and cold will not be going again.

Amazing! Came with my family last weekend and left very satisfied and already planning to come back again very soon. Of all the Turkish i have been too, Shish is definately a Turkish with a Fusion that makes it that extra special. Nadera (comment from below) sounds like the person unfortunately we were dining next too. She came in with a bad attitude and was not pleasant or respectful to the members of staff from the beginning. Overall well great portion sizes for lunch time menu. Well worth your monies. You get more than what you pay for. Off the lunch menu Seabass was extremely tasty and the chefs cater to how you want it. We had chops and rice for take away and the chops were clean...read...

We ordered the mixed special for two, which we picked up. Perhaps that's why the cook thought it would be okay to give us tiny scraps of meat that seemed to be leftover pieces, passed off as lamb shish cubes. The taste was always perfect when we dined in, so we were disappointed by the response of the owner when we called to complain about it. He first claimed that it was how they normally serve it. When we explained that we had eaten it before and it was not served that way, he tried to say he had given extra food to compensate - which he did not.
