"After 2 weeks in Spain and way too much meat, we started craving ethnic food and looked up reviews on TA to find Siglo de Oro, slightly concerned at how few reviews this restaurant we decided to try it out anyway. We arrived at 1:30 pm and there was one table occupied (usually a concern), but ordered spring rolls and a soup as we felt these 2 dishes would be safe and determine the overall quality of the restaurant. The Spring roll was larger in size than we have at home and was quite greasy but ok. We then ordered the hot and sour soup which was average. Our final dish a spicy beef stir fry which was chewy and had a shiny appearance (msg)? No spice. The plain white rice (although I'm not a fan of steamed plain rice) actually tasted quite good. So, my recommendation is if you have a craving for Chinese food, you'll satisfy your craving, but if you're after a gastronomic Chinese meal, scratch this one off your list."

Found restaurant after leaving freezing cold hotel. Great reception and best chinese in spain. Busy and attentive service great variety. Would recommend .

The takeaway food is based on vegetables and no meat or pasta or whatever you order and on top of that it is not cheap to pay only for onion and pepper. Improving the service like that given in the restaurant would be nice

I have been craving vegetables and this place delivered! The food was very fresh and fast and the dining room was impeccable. The restaurant also quite literally delivers and based on the volume of calls and to go orders being prepared it's obviously a local favorite. Vegetarian options: Mixed vegetables dishes, eggplant, and rice and noodles. Since it's all fresh prepared they may be able to accommodate modifications to dishes that have meat. It was a relatively quiet Saturday night in Haro and as the hotel we were staying in had a wedding party and the restaurant was closed, we decided to try something different. So it was essentially luck that brought us here. From the moment we walked into Siglo de Oro the service we got was excellent starting with a really friendly welcome from our young waiter (Jorge? who has an excellent manner with all tables getting a similar treatment.
