meatball sandwich with root salate is delicious. cafe is large and has both areas in the upper and lower floors. it was pretty busy at lunchtime, but later still. the menu can be limited for some, so it is a good idea to check it before visiting.

an excellent supplement to oxford, the Scandi plate was a beautiful combination. if I am picky, I like my laughs a little more healed and my hering whipped a little longer, but these are small guides to an otherwise beautiful dish. in particular, the avenues are majestic.

a small Scandinavian caffe, with classics such as marinated hering, beetroot salat and amazing cardamom rolls; it also makes amazing avocado on sourded toast and brunch size plates with a little of everything. this was the place for us after locking, with tables outside and in a quiet side street with a classic view of old Oxford building. we love it!

The food and service is simply superb. Warm and friendly we would highly recommend the meatball classic and the salmon with scrambled eggs. It is located in a quaint yet cosy street and we would recommend sitting outside to take the pleasant view of Brasenose College. The signature cinnamon buns would be the quintessential take away. A must visit when in Oxford!

OMG gluten free pastry just went to another level. Skogen Kitchen is now producing the BEST gluten free cinnamon buns, and they are. simply. super. scrummy. I've eaten some pretty sub-standard GF baking, but you wouldn't even know these were gluten free. Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom. Gobbled up in a matter of minutes. Do pop in or order them to be delivered if you live in Oxford.

My sister ordered me some buns for my birthday last week. Imagine my surprise when someone brought freshly baked goods to my house on an otherwise dreary day in lockdown! Completely delightful experience and buns were delicious. Have also visited the store over summer, delicious breakfast and well priced. A fantastic addition to Oxford, looking forward to trying more of their food.

I went to the cafe after finding it online specifically for the vegan cinnamon buns on a Saturday. There were none left by the time we got there and the lovely lady offered to make me some and to come back in 1 hour They were delicious, such friendly service. I'm intolerant to dairy and eggs so it was the first time I'd eaten pastry in a long time. This was a very special experience, made better by the wonderful staff. Next time I will pre order the buns! Thoroughly recommend.
