"My boyfriend and I stopped off in La Lajita after some beach time in Jandia. We were desperate for something to eat but could not find anything nice in Costa Calma so we turned off into La Lajita, parked up and headed for the first restaurant we could see Bella Vita Snack Bar. We were greeted by a lovely local lady who made us feel very welcome and took our order very quickly. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. Although the menu was in both Spanish and English it felt like we had stumbled across a real local haunt, with many customers greeted as friends. I plumped for the lasagne (7 euros) and my boyfriend went for a hamburger (at just 3.50 euros). The meals that came were nothing short of perfection! The cheaply priced hamburger was enormous and came topped with a fired egg, bacon, cheese and salad. My lasagne was one of the best I have ever tasted. Served freshly cooked in an large earthenware dish, every bite was fantastic and I had to be restrained from ordering a second! Although La Lajita seems to be missed from the touristy hotspots of Fuerteventura, I thoroughly recommend making a trip there just for a meal at this gorgeous little place. The filling lunch including 2 drinks, a Fanta and a coffee, was under 15 euros an absolute bargain for the quality we received! Highly highly recommend this place so happy and glad we found it!"

Much more than a snack bar! A real restaurant! Don't hesitate to go there, it's small, but it's so good! We ate a tuna steak, they also make very good fresh smoothies.
