"We wanted to eat a Wiener Schnitzel and they had it. It was a spontaneous visit on a Thursday evening. The restaurant has wooden tables and chairs, which is typical for such a place. The front side is the smokers area (it is still normal...in Austria to smoke in bars and restaurants, although they have to have a non-smoker room) and in the back they had a non-smoker room, which we choosed. We both ordered the schnitzel (pork) with salad and a bottle of sekt (Austrian Champagne). We had to wait a little while, but when it arrived, we were very surprised. It was that big (see the picture). We ate it all (when you order it with potatoes or fries it is to much to eat). On Thursdays the schnitzel costs 6,20 euro and normally 7,90 euros. The lady who served us was nice."

I was more often in the soosser and it was always excellent. the portionings especially the Wienerschnitzel are huge and a dessert after the carving was usually no longer feasible.

The interviewer reminded us of the dining room at the children's place. These green tables, fun vases... very sweet and unprovoked. Very good prices, very good, with the humor of the kelner. The food could be better, but it's a good price.

came a little too late to the Friday fish, chose me for backhendlsalat. the backhendl was good, the salat less. I had the feeling, the salat comes from the glass or the dose. nothing was fresh. the waitress has assured me that these salads are also made.

On our first night in Vienna we wanted a typical back street restaurant off the tourist route near our Hotel. We spotted this place with a good simple meal, and good reviews. There were only 3 other people at about 8pm, just drinking beers. Both...our meals were terrible, but I felt so sorry for the poor waitress, so we decided not to complain. The only thing that was good were the half litre carafes of local red wine.

It is an Austrian restaurant mainly for Austrians, it is north of the canal and there is not much variety in that area. We went to dinner three nights, we were testing the typical Austrian dishes and also desserts. generous amounts at very good price, the service very friendly although a little slow when it comes to bringing the account, the food brought it quite quickly. for putting an example two huge dishes, two beers and a dessert 30 euros more or less.

.... seemingly always busy - opportunities to eat inside or outside with currently an inside dedicated but wholly separate area for smokers AND a wholly separate area for non-smokers.Serving archetypal Austrian Fayre - weiner schitzel freshly cooked and huge with a range of varieties of such. We finished ours off for lunch the next day. And all at a relatively cheap price.Standard reasonable offerings on beer and all accompanied by excelletn service. I would happily return to eat here again.
