"We had a table in the smoking room because the rest was full - we were assured when booking that it would not be a smoking room once we sat down. This was of concern as we had young children with us. Of course the room was quite smoky because there was a customer smoking when we arrived. He obliged the waitress when he was asked not to smoke but unfortunately another customer was not so obliging during our dinner when we had to ask him not to smoke. He made a rude gesture to us as he left the room which my son saw and we had a brief "exchange". Not a great way to start the evening. As for the food itself, the choice was limited, in the end I just had a green salad but the waitress couldn't put the dressing on the side (salad was already predressed - what??) and as a result I left most of it as it was too vinegary. My husband's meal was apparently good - basically chicken and chips though. We had to repeatedly ask for service and the bill as we were basically forgotten in this "smoking room" on the side. Would not recommend or return."

It was our first visit and our party of 4 was pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. For vegetarians, I can highly recommend the brushetta and the tagliatelli da Bruno. The Spaghetti Bolognaise and Carbonara also got rave reviews. The salad with beans was very fresh and tasty.We did not try the wine but had some cocktails. Very reasonably priced but very low in alcohol as well. We will return!

the first time i visited this restaurant, i had a very good garlic cuttlefish. a couple of months later, the cuttlefish was not so good. the garlic shrimps were good both times.the wine selection is acceptable, although not cheap. the food was average / high priced.the decor should improve.service also irregular: the first time, the owner was a great host; the second time, the waitress was not so friendly.

I was born in richterswil, but lived over a decade in the country. but if I return home to see my family, we always enjoy at least one evening in the Spanish wein hall and in the regular have a small whole huhn 'mistktatzerli '. Although we have many others...things there over the years have tried, including other specialties like paella mong others, this special dish remains the favorites of our family and so it all happens that we have also their salat dressing is brilliant and therefore a big and light starter. the Swiss is full of medium over expensive restaurants and I had abandoned when I stumbled on this little rare precious stone the beautiful dame that belongs to this restaurant is also the cook and takes an incredible proud and joy in the food and service. by Swiss standards, prices are also very fair.
