"I can't expect to go back to this place! what a failure! I had a very small hope to find something good on a Sunday afternoon! nice, friendly staff, excellent eating, really cheap prices! great for vegetarian! we have probably ordered 8-9 vegetarian dishes (for 4ppl) they were all delicious! the grilled Greek cheese (not feta,) roasted aubergine, spinat and calamari were my favorite!"

Might just be my new favourite place in Edinburgh! Lovely little restaurant with delicious, fresh food. The service was great and staff really nice and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back there!

Really great atmosphere inside, staff were very courteous as we arrived quite late. The house wine was good and very good price on £16 for a liter. The food came fresh and hot and each course was delicious and authentic Greek. Very recommended

Amazing dinner- Nina and the whole team were incredibly friendly and the food was nothing short of divine. Every bite was worth savoring; we particularly loved the Prawns and the Courgette special! We’ll be back (many times, I suspect) and recommend Spitaki to all!

Wow this place is incredible! The food, the staff, the decor and the overall atmosphere was incredible. Definitely reminded me of actually being in Greece! Every single dish was so delicious and you could tell they had been made with skill and love. Can't wait to eat here again!

This restaurant is fantastic and very friendly. The food is delicious and freshly made, offering great value for money. The house wine is excellent. I highly recommend this place—the dining experience is truly wonderful. The gigantes are the best; they taste just like they do in Greece!

Second time at Spitaki after a fantastic first visit and it didn't disappoint. Excellent meal in a lovely chatty atmosphere. Friendly staff were very helpful in suggesting menu items for our group and we felt we'd ordered the correct amount without stuffing ourselves too much. Can't wait for our next visit.

The best and most authentic Greek restaurant in Edinburgh. Where Greek cuisine is not confined to the narrow meat wrap merchandise. Am a regular. Food is loved so cooking comes easy. Ingredients are simple and great. This is a family business. It is a rare find. Sunday meal here warms your heart . Try to come with your family and perhaps you will leave more united?
