Klasse Pommes mit veganer Mayo und Ketchup. Gibt auch immer mindestens ein veganes Gericht. Sehr schöner Außenbereich. Es gibt einen schönen kleinen Wanderpfad durch den Wald zur Gaststätte.

Leckeres Essen, Spielplatz, kein Durchgangsverkehr, schöne Aussicht auf die Berge und die Bäume, trotzdem ist man schnell wieder in der Stadt. Wir saßen entspannt draußen und die Kinder konnten sich nach dem Essen selbst beschäftigen.

after a 5 kilometers long walk through the forest of Freiburg we arrived here where a pint of furstenberg was well received, followed by weiner schnitzel and chips. I couldn't have wanted anything better. the service was good and sat outside with view. the forest was idyllic. Visualizza piatti

We walked through the forest from Freiburg and were able to follow small signs along the road. A fantastic walk, and a delicious meal when we reached the restaurant. So good that we made reservations for brunch on Sunday and will enjoy walking up the hill again...and this time knowing what awaits us!

we wandered from Freiburg and found this place just in time for lunch and for our aching feet. it is a great location in the heart of the black forest. it serves authentic German eating in a magnificent outdoor environment. I had the bad three sausage salad. while my wife had a cauliflower soup. where many other options and some good beer and wine options. they don't have to walk, they just follow the locals who drive to Sunday dinner.

This cafe is located in the middel of forest nearby Freiburg city, you can either drive there by a car or walk 30 min through the nice forest (along a quite comfortable path). I was there twice, in the spring and in the summer. It is a nice wooden house with a beautiful panorama view if you sit outside. The food is very good--e.g. rumpsteak, frammkuchen (typical for french Elsas area nearby) as well as local Baden wines. Staff is very friendly, prices very reasonable, atmosphere excellent! this caffe is located in the middle of the forest near the freeburg city, they can either drive there with the car or 30 minutes through the beautiful forest (under a very comfortable way.) I was there twice, in the early year and in the summer. it is a beautiful wood house with a beautiful panoramic view when sitting outside. eating is very good - e.g. rumpsteak, frammkuchen (typically for French elsas area close) as well as local bath wines. personal is very friendly, prices very reasonable, atmosphere excellent!

about 4.5 km from the Freeburg center, but they would not suspect that they are so close to the city. we wandered there too afternoon and shared flambée and drank some much needed cold beer. friendly service, many families with young children. make cake and ice cream., many vegetarian and vegan options also with locally produced products as well as traditional meat dishes. beautiful view over the black forest. directly next to a chapel dedicated to the st. odile, from approx. 1700, which is currently in need of renovation (reconstruction.) we sat outside, but there are many tables inside, the weather should be bad very rustic interior with lots of wood.

Lovely views over the Black Forest. Right next to a chapel dedicated to St. Odile dating from around 1700, which is currently undergoing renovation (scaffolding).
