"Altes aber hübsches und gepflegtes Haus. Sehr angenehmer Umgang und freundlicher Service. Wir hatten einen Insalata Italia als Vorspeise geordert. Dieser war zwar schön bunt aber mengenmäßig etwas sehr überschaubar. Er war aber durchgehend mit einem leichten Dressing angemacht und schmeckte ganz gut. Die darauf befindlichen Schinkenröllchen waren aber wohl Formvorderschinken der günstigen Art und ließen etwas sehr Geschmack vermissen. Die Linguine Mare e Monte meiner Frau hatten den perfekten Gargrad und kamen mit einer sehr aromatischen Sahnesoße. Nicht zu wenige, sehr gut getroffene, Garnelen waren auch dabei bei denen der Schwanz dann noch vom Panzer befreit werden musste. Das gericht war auf jeden Fall ein Treffer. Leider konnte da die Pizza (O Mama Mia bei weitem nicht mithalten. Der Teig war ziemlich nichtssagend und nahezu ohne Würze. Der Boden war angenehm dünn und fest. Der Rand sah leider nur aus wie wenn er luftig gewesen wäre. Er war leider sehr teigig und schwer. Der Belag tat dem gleich und blieb geschmacklich sehr im Hintergrund. Wie so oft ist es wohl auch hier so, daß man entweder eine tolle Pasta oder eine klasse Pizza kann. Selten genug findet man Beides zusammen. Damit wir uns nicht falsch verstehen: Die Pizza war nicht schlecht! Aber irgendwie auch belanglos und austauschbar. Noch etwas zur Beleuchtung: An unserem Tisch war der hintere Platz unbeleuchtet und man hatte große Schwierigkeiten die Karte zu lesen. Da wäre eine weitere Beleuchtung durchaus angebracht. Dies nur als Hinweis an den Gastgeber (fließt nicht in Bewertung ein! ."

"At first one wonders about the comparatively high prices, which then explain themselves when the portion size is viewed. Who doesn't know what he's getting into here and doesn't have a trained stomach, I recommend a small carving, otherwise he can carry half in aluminium foil home; . Qualitative rather middle class, and tastefully delicious, but nothing for gourmets. As I said, this is more about the crowd. The service was now quite good and accommodating. Except for a misplaced meal, don't stop."

"We were back in the East, we were very happy to have a pleasant evening and the 150 menu button. Unfortunately, we had to find out that the drinks leaf now needs to pick up its own drinks. The menu has become smaller, salads and fruits and drinks that were previously included in the service now fall away. Unfortunately, the atmosphere also suffers because the guests are constantly walking around to get drinks. The service was somewhat unorganized this evening and unfortunately also forgot a food from a walk and unfortunately not delivered. The food is still good but not this button menu in combination with the service of the drinks flat."

"On a hot and humid summer's evening, you could be forgiven for giving this place a miss because there's no obvious signs of somewhere outdoors to sit and eat. But don't walk by, go in and through the seating area towards the bar and you'll find an outdoor terrace with just as many seats outside as there is inside. The menu is extensive and typically German with a local Schwabian flavour and there's even an English language menu available on request. Despite being very busy, we were served promptly and our food came out quickly although a couple of beers from their own brewery (located in nearby Ludwigsburg) helped to pass the time. Good value for money with tasty food and excellent beer - what more could you ask for?"
