Steigenberger Festspielrestauration

The food is better than expected in such a crowded place. The service very fast, it is no problem having a dinner in 60 minutes. Book a table in advance, or during the first brake, but that maybe a problem.The prices are very high.

I respect that the service tries to be expedient and effective and that all this is not easy to organize, but the quality of the food is only average, it takes a long time waiting in line to get your food (self service) and I consider it expensive

Excellent lobster tail, perfectly not overcooked, with ravioli stuffed with lobster meat and asparagus, very decent price for such a treat at the Richard Wagner's shrine: the Festspielhaus. Excellent friendly and competent service. Wish I could go there tomorrow.

Here you are at the world-famous Wagner Festspielhaus, all dressed up, and whatd is one of the best things to eat? An inexpensive bratwurst. The bratwurst is great and, given that the restaurants are crowded, an important advantage is that you can just find a place to stand and eat it standing up. Even if you don't have a hot dog at a ball park, you gotaa have a brat at the Festspielhaus!

Only at the Bayreuth Festspielhaus can you see people dressed in their best fancy-ball type clothes eating a bratwurst hot dog and drinking a beer! A wonderful experience. Steigenburger has all the food concessions at the Wagner Festspielhaus and they have many different food stands. The good is great but the problem is they won't hire sufficient people to move the lines along, so expect a long line at whatever food stand (or the cafeteria) you go to.

At the intervals it seems as though half the people in the Festspielhaus descend upon this restaurant and expect to be waited upon and fed in a manner that matches the cost of the menu. It is very much to the credit of the young staff that they achieve this. Of course there are glitches with this number of people, but only the very picky would grumble at the quality of service or of food. Go ahead, enjoy the occasion, and make it part of your wonderful evening.

Wir waren beim Holländer, da gibt es ja keine Pause und haben vorher ein Eis und im Anschluß eine Bratwurst gegessen. Die Bio-Bratwurst mit Wildkräutern im Roggenbrötchen war eine der besten Würste, die je gegessen habe. Super schmackhaft und mit 7,50 während des Festspiele im Preis angemessen. Das gezapfte Bier war leider etwas zu warm. Ich denke aber, dass es eine passende Festspielrestauration ist. Ich würde nicht hinterher unbedingt in die Innenstadt zum Essen gehen wollen. Die Atmosphäre auf dem grünen Hügel ist so schön.....

Ich habe mit Kunden die Festspiele besucht. Für die Pausen war jeweils ein Tisch reserviert. Fehler 1. für Pause 1 und 2 waren die Tische unterschiedlich. Das wurde nach meinem Veto korrigiert. Fehler 2. Vorspeisenplatten waren für 2 Personen bestellt. Geliefert wurden 3 Einzelportionen. Fehler 3. in der 2. Pause wurden 3 Essen von 6 mit 15 Min. Verzögerung serviert. Die Nachspeise kam zum 2. Signal des Orchesters, d. h. 7 min. Zeit, die Plätze wieder einzunehmen. Die Getränke mussten wir letztendlich selbst einschenken. Dies alles bei dem stolzen Preis von über 700€! Qualitativ war das Essen gut.

We like this restaurant very much . The menu choices are excellent and the food is tasty and well presented . Sadly the wine list is a bit limited which is a pity given that there are so many wonderful German wines which they could stock .The staff are wonderful - a mix of adult professionals and university students on summer vacation work . They are tirelessly hepful and polite and everyone seems very keen to make sure you have an enjoyable meal . They can adjust well and move you inside or out to the terrance depending on whether it rains or not .
