"This sushi restaurant is one of the best in town. It has an authentic, cozy and warm atmosphere with great attention to detail. The prices are very reasonable and you can tell the chefs take pride in their work. The waitress was friendly and attentive with a smile. The dashi for the tempura prawn was so tasty! So flavoursome!!! Best I’ve had in years!! The prawn tempura handroll was nice but could have been better with a sauce inside, seemed a bit bland. "It's just as well that Alio's is out of town. I have to drive there. If I could walk, I would be there every lunch time and more. The toasties are amazing try the chili boosted cheese ham and the coffees knock the high street swill out of the park. Nice people too. On a nice day, there is nothing better than chilling in the cosy out door area with an ice cream. And browse ! There's all sorts of interesting snacks hidden away."

"My first course had 3 slices of bread with a selection of toppings. 1 was OK (mushrooms in cream) the other 2 were diced tomato and something which was tasteless and both were pointless and uninteresting. With my main course the sauce around the dome of pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after it was bought back to me it was barely warm. The dessert panettone bread pudding was a triumph."

"We visited the restaurant on Thursday, June 13th and were thoroughly impressed. The small and cozy staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They were able to accommodate my vegan partner, who often struggles to find suitable dishes at other restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she had a satisfying meal. The food itself was cooked perfectly, and I highly recommend the tandoori duck starter and the chicken Peshwari Special. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to every taste. We will definitely be returning."

"This restaurant delivered a pizza to my house by mistake, the pizza was meant to be for a house, about four doors away from me. I was cooking BBQ food in the garden when there was a knock at the door, which my wife answered. Her son who was working upstairs, has takeaway food delivered at least three time a week. She accepted the delivery, thinking it was for him, she called out to him and he replied that he hadn't ordered anything. She asked me, I said no, of course not. I checked the delivery for signs of where it had come from of where it was supposed to be. There were no indications at all, no phone numbers, no restaurant name, no receipt and no delivery note. I said leave it there, they will come back when the mistake is spotted. 40 minutes went by and there was a knock at the door. A very angry man asking me if we had received a food delivery. He was the person who placed the order. I told him we had and explained what had happened. He calmed down a little, I asked him if he wanted the food, he said no, not now. It was then that I decided to compost the food and recycle the cardboard. 10 minutes later another knock and another angry person, this time from the restaurant. Again I explained what had happened but I got the impression he did not believe me, he walked away shaking his head, I asked him where had he and the food come from. He told me Plenty in Hampton. My initial thoughts were surprise, as I was busy cooking. However later I was angry. Angry that the restaurant gave out my number and angry that I was questioned by the manager/owner or whoever he was. Surely they should have printed a receipt or delivery note and surely giving out my address was very wrong."
