Fabulous service and food . For a village pub did not expect the various amazing menu options, for eg. Cod Munrow. Beautifully prepared food, loved the tea light candles , skin throws etc just can't fault at all.

Amazing Sunday roast with a great selection of beer and wine. Couldn't find any faults with it. Brought some friends from the South and they absolutely loved it! Price per person ranges from £20 to £30. Highly recommend trying the Sunday dinner. Free parking is available. Visualizza piatti

we are here 5 or 6 times for eating and are never disappointed. pampering eating too good trips, we can't mistake it. Sunday afternoons are amazing, but this time it was a Saturday lunch. we had to take a walk through tissington afterwards to work out something! it is a 45-minute drive from home, but never disappointed. we'll be back soon. flippine

Visited this pub as a rest stop on walks for many years. First visit since pandemic restrictions, now even better. Sunday menu mostly roast dinner with good choice of meat, enormous portions and well priced. Plenty of other choices available. Also offering a choice of Robinson's beers on hand pumps. Chairs without wing arms would make access to seating easier.

six of us enjoyed last night a meal in this beautiful pub. the eating was excellent and so much of him, I can't see how they do it for the money, but the pub was full, so that speaks for itself to have better full tables with very inexpensive meal times than an empty dining room due to the expensive menu. the fed chicken was delicious, like my companion meals. friendly staff and great atmosphere. dog-friendly too. we're back! On holiday and booked for 2 pm the following day; very popular pub in a picturesque village so fortunate to get in. Took the granddaughters and their parents for Sunday lunch, which was fabulous. Veggie curry and nut roast delicious. The boys enjoyed the lamb and beef roast and brilliant veggie platter. Overall Great quality and quantity and definitely recommend! Added bonus of an excellent park opposite for the 3 and 6 year olds to run off the calories.

I love coming here! we came three times this week! when we first came, I had the antien pasti and it was by far the best I had eaten in a long time, beautifully presented and was absolutely fantastic! I left a review of this meal, but I accidentally deleted it when I tried to correct a write error! the second time that we came was fantastic, my sister loved the lamb starter, the eating here is always fresh, I love that the veg has a bite to him. we came with my family today and they all said it was the best pub menu they had! the steak and Ale Piee is fantastic, the baked is beautiful! the personal is very warm for children and animals. definitiw recomend booking for weeks as it is quite bus...

Upon walking in to this pub for the first time, it felt more the type of place you’d grab a couple of pints and a bowl of chips. A basic looking pub with a single laminated sheet menu didn’t look so promising how wrong was I! The food in here was absolutely incredible!! We were a table of 11 all having different dishes, from starters through to main courses and we were all genuinely blown away by just how good the food is! A lot of thought and effort has gone into every dish on the menu with high quality ingredients and very generous portions making this eating establishment a place we would certainly visit again.
