Great food and friendly staff! There's a spacious beer garden, and the sun was shining beautifully.

I didn't have to wait long for my meal after ordering, and the food was delightful. I will definitely visit Tafarn Tanerdy again. The staff were very pleasant as well.

I had a wonderful carvery meal, and the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert was absolutely delightful! The staff greeted us warmly upon our arrival, and the bar staff and waitstaff were lovely. I highly recommend visiting this place. Thank you, and see you soon! xxx Visualizza piatti

The staff were all lovely friendly, helpful and cheerful. However, I was a little disappointed in my main meal of buttermilk chicken. The chicken was rather dry and though I requested half salad/half chips it came to the table with only chips. There was no problem in getting it changed, though. Everywhere was clean and tidy and we'll definitely be returning :

We thoroughly enjoyed our break although not for long, the outdoor seating comes with a pleasant view and plenty of space. Indoors it was cool and inviting, once again seating had lots of space and felt comfortable. Caring staff showed concern relating to a car in the carpark containing a distressed dog. They searched for the vehicle owners to make them aware of the problem. Very well done.

Great place. Food real good value for money. Ordered the taverns burger and upgraded to extra chicken breast as in other pubs its quite a thin breast. Here each breast was 1-1.5inch thick! Loads of bacon too!! Dog was welcome and staff came with water and offered treats. Didn't realise it was self service for sauce and cutlery but staff grabbed them for us without issue. I went to the carvery on a Sunday. The meat portions were a decent size and you could choose how many vegetables you wanted. The turkey was delicious. However, the drinks took a long time to arrive, even after two reminders. We had almost finished eating by the time they finally came. Next time, I'll make sure to pick up my drinks on the way to the table just in case. The desserts were good, but it seemed like there was a lack of communication between staff. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of management.

From the very first instance we had a warm and friendly welcome, nothing is too much trouble for this team! I booked last minute on the jubilee weekend and I wasn't disappointed Food was ordered and delivered within 20 minutes! Hot and served with a smile. There was entertainment during our visit, face painting, games, bouncy castle and a fairy entertainer who was absolutely amazing with the children! All which I can say was FREE!! This is a great place to stop off at, a beer garden which will entertain the children and cosy bar and restaurant that has plenty of space! Plenty of events during the week including pub quiz and bingo. Highly recommended Thank you to an incredible team!!

We recently visited Tafarn Tanerdy for drinks while staying in Carmarthen with a friend. The pub is quite large and has an old-fashioned decor inside, as well as a lovely beer garden with views of the hills, making it an ideal sun trap. The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Although we had only planned on having drinks, we ended up staying for lunch after seeing how delicious the food looked on a nearby table. I had the Lamb Koftas and my friend had the Chicken Sandwich with chips. The food was fresh, tasty, and good value. I would definitely recommend Tafarn Tanerdy and will visit again when in Carmarthen. Visualizza piatti
