Busy time but still manage to get place for dinner. Amazingly very tasty food. Service was also good. Cleaning, specially in toilet area was sub standard.

I was thoroughly impressed by the food at this restaurant. Everything was delicious. The only downside was the cleanliness of the establishment. Despite that, I would still definitely recommend it.

Visited Taj Grill with my family. We ordered the Tawa platter which was nice. However, the hygiene level put us off massively. My son's plate of cheeseburger had a piece of hair in it. We also spotted some ants on the floor crawling up the table. Overall, they need to improve their cleanliness.

Go here if you wanted to be abused. The staff simply do not care, throw plates on the table, you have to keep asking for things water tissue Mayo chilli sauce. It’s so much aggravation! Many many years ago this place used to be good, but now, they dont simply care about customers as they’ve grown and so busy.

I ordered a takeaway of okra and sweet rice from this restaurant. The okra was drenched in oil to the point where the paper bag was soaked through and made a hole in the plastic bag. All I could taste was the overwhelming oil and chili powder. The portion of sweet rice was disappointingly small and lacked any discernible flavor – it tasted like plain boiled rice. What can I say, one of the best restaurant in Ilford, food is always delicious but that is why I came here to write a review, I want to say about a waiter I think is called Mr Shah, what a gentleman he is, he always knows what me and my family wants and bring it without us asking, just yesterday 6th December 2020 I took some food for takeaway he gave me a portion of fried onions without me asking as he knows I like it a lot, usually restaurants only give fried onions if you dine in, because of him I always go there, well done Shah.

I used to always enjoy the Asian cuisine at this local restaurant and have always been satisfied. However, this time I was disappointed to find that the food was uncooked and raw, there were no lamb chops in the mixed grill, and the spinach used in a curry tasted like it came from a tin and wasn't cooked properly with the gravy. To make matters worse, my child only ate one mince meat kebab and had a terrible stomach ache all night. Taj Grill, please reevaluate your prices as they are too high for the quality of food being served during Covid. If you can't maintain professionalism, it may be best to close down as it is a waste of money.

Visited here midweek evening. Table was dirty with food crumbs stuck to the menu. Floor felt sticky. No one attended as I was walked in so just sat at table. A waiter looked at me a few times but never came over. Eventually another waiter came over but only after she had taken the order of a table that arrived after me. I ordered karahi gosht, 2 tandoori roti and fries. Food arrived promptly (and some salad). It was piping hot which was good since it was so cold outside. Food tasted good nice and spicy. Even though the gosht pieces tasted nice, I just found the karahi a bit too saucy and the sauce itself didn’t feel so tasty. Pricing was fine. Place looked busy so clearly popular. Food is go...
