"Read the reviews here about the owner- spot on- a one off. Always chatting and cracking jokes with every one. Got here early and the restaurant soon filled up. The owner seemed to be front of house and also running into the kitchen for...a few minutes and the service was a bit hit and miss. Waited an hour for my food- there were obviously problems some where. When I eventually got my order it was very good- veg pathia- pilau rice and a puri naan- the naans were off the menu because the owner's wife- who is the chef- had been off or a day and they were always made freshly. Food was obviously freshly made- so different from many places- although my pathia was a tad too sweet for my taste- just a personal prefernce. All in all a very good restaurant where the food is freshly cooked- just wished the service had been quciker."

The owner is a bit of a character, been here for years, nearly All the cooking is done by his wife. Good quality food. As the owner for a bottle of Westgate water.

We went as a family party of and the restaurant was quite busy. The food and atmosphere was excellent and the owner is very helpful and attentive although the service wasn't the quickest it didn't matter as we were all have in a good...time. The lady in the kitchen (on her own) produced wonderful food and even prepared some dishes that were not on the menu. Highly recommended.

last night had a nice meal in the taj mahal in westgate. it's just the second time that I've been there, but we know we're gonna go again. the whole food was nice, but I recommend above all the peshwari naans, the mushroom and the meat...(lamb) saag. we went with two other couples who were also really impressed with the meal, they said it was the best samosa he had ever, and another one said that leti was very good and it is only the authentic Indian restaurants where you can get it. it is not licensed to take their own drink. it is very good value and they get more than many portions.

my wife and I decided to have a take on Saturday and decided to have an Indian would be nice. So we call the tadsch mahal and ordered our meal, it was ready to collect less than minutes after we have the order by telephone and. If we have him home, I have to say that it was nice. we started with poppadomen, with mango chutney, raita and hot pickel, then my wife had chicken corma and I had a meat dupiatsa, we had funky, sagaloo and garlic naan brot. the whole meal was hot well prepared and tasted super. can recommend this restaurant completely and remove it if they don't try it already.

for the first time order from here and it will definitely be the last! collected meals from a shady, searching operation, rice, chips, wobbly barhjis and nannn all cold and certainly not convinced are the bharjis or nann fresh or homemade. vegetable corma was...what can only be described as baby food, thick gloopy and totally inconspicuous and no corma I've ever eaten. the my husband's opinion of his chicken rogan josh was best ok. I don't like to leave bad critikens and hate it even more, but unfortunately this was pretty dirty and a total waste of money as in the am and went over the zaun for the fuchs!

Having driven past this place for the last twenty years, I ventured inside for the first time for a takeaway and will definitely be back. The restaurant is like an old fashioned British curry house, bright red chairs and tablecloths, faded paintings on the wall....Pretty empty when we went in, but the owner is a friendly, chatty guy. Lamb vindaloo and chicken ceylon were spicy and delicious, as was the sweet peshwari naan. Bit disappointed with the chicken tikka masala (sauce a bit too runny), but overall the food was very good and really fresh. Portions are big. quid for a meal for people, not bad at all.

We took a chance on this restaurant as we were staying in the local area and there wasn't much choice to be honest. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. Especially because there was a deal on for two people. Unfortunately they didn't have...vegetarian samosas so we had the onion bhajis and then main we chose mushroom bhaji, mixed veg curry and bombay potato which came with a generous portion of pilaf rice. The dishes were tasty and didn't all taste the same (which is the case with some restaurants using the same sauce in everything). Babul was very friendly and welcoming. We were the only people in there so he gave us his undivided attention. I would recommend this place to anyone who...

order online and had a promised delivery of a tad long, but ok for a busy Saturday night. paid by debit card and the money came directly from my account. minutes later I got a call from a number that told me. that my order would not be ready until I explained that this would not fit with our plans, so that they could even make it a little earlier. the type called me back after minutes to tell me that I was able to pick up my order the earliest, hours after my order. I said that was not acceptable and asked for a refund. they told me they could refund me, but the money would not be in my account for days. I understand how the banking works, but promise a delivery time after they have taken th...

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."
