"I was looking for good quality from Sushi in Jena and I failed until this restaurant was opened. Staff are friendly and I must say that the quality of fresh fish and the variety of dishes are the best in Jena. If you want to eat Sushi in Jena, there are no other restaurants better than these. Only on the bottom is that the restaurant is often full so that your food is not served as fast as other places."

Fantastic sushi place in Jena! Fresh and interesting choices. Excellent choices for vegetarians too, not just the usual boring cucumber and avocado! Drinks also really good we had vietnamese coffee and fresh ginger tea to end which were excellent. The waiter was very friendly and nice I only take off one star because the service was a little slow and not so attentive and the place was not very busy.

"Brought my parents here one afternoon as my third visit in weeks this place is truly unmissable. An incredible range of cakes and tray bakes, everybody will find something they love. We shared black forest gateau, chocolate mousse cake and raspberry and marscapone...cake. All three were incredible. The atmosphere inside the cafe is amazing beautiful setting with chandeliers and traditionally dressed waitresses. Can't wait to come back."

"Enjoyable family night out on a sultry summer evening. Really enjoyed the traditional food (large portions! do ask for half-size portions for the kids - in fact, our kids barely managed those!), the quaint music-theme decor and the friendly service. We had the Sülze (jellied meat dish) and Brathering (which I had expected to be hot, but it's served cold/pickled. The kids had a noodle dish and the tomato soup - both were really good. Recommended!"

"Preliminary: If you want to eat something fast, you should face the Pommesbude! Whoever goes to Daheme comes home. Sit down, drop everything and make it comfortable. The ambience is cozy, both inside and outside; on lukewarm summer evenings, of course, it is a bit more beautiful outside. The menu is clear, this is usually a sign made by itself. Only those who generously join Convenience products in wholesale can afford a 20-page menu. Whoever cooks himself must be limited to the essential. And in the Daheme is the essence of absolute Knaller! It tastes like before at Grandma. You can eat the card on and off. Tender Tefelspitz, crispy Schnitzel, sweet potato... The Nakládaný Hermelín is recommended for those who want to travel unconventionally. Hermelín is the Czech variant of Camembert, and for this dish it is placed in oil with spices. There's crispy bread. In the Czech Republic, this is a typical pub court where you can drink a beer. There's a Jena beer in the Daheme. "Wie schon öfters erwähnt, wenn man dem Studentenalter entwachsen ist, dann ist es es gar nicht so leicht etwas vom Jenaer Nachtleben zu haben. eine Ausnahme ist die Weintanne. Das Essen habe ich mich ja schon einmal lobend erwähnt. Dieses Mal möchte ich etwas Positives über die Bar der Weintanne los werden. Was als ersten auffällt ist das sehr hilfsbereite und geschulte Personal und dass im Hintergrund Barjazz läuft. Gute Musikauswahl, so wie ich es mag. Dann gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl an Getränken. Schade nur, dass man immer nur wenige probieren kann. Von den Klassikern hatten wird dann einen Mojito probiert. Ergebnis sehr gut und einer der besten Mojito die wir je hatten, sowohl vom Geschmack als auch wie er serviert wurden. Haben dann noch einen Peter Special probiert, der eine sehr gute Mischung aus Gin, Angostura, Limette und Tonic ist, war eine echtes Highlight. Nicht ganz so begeistert war ich vom Blackfoot Tonic, der aus Gin, Grappa, Tonic und Limette besteht. Die Mischung aus Gin und Grappa klingt interessant, hat mich aber dann doch nicht ganz überzeugt. Aber es gibt ja noch viele andere Drinks auf der Karte, und wir nehmen die Herausforderung an uns da durchzukosten. Ums zusammenzufassen, ausgezeichnete Drinks, angenehme Atmosphäre, nettes Personal, da passt einfach alles."
