"I've been here a few times this year, the first time we shared some small plates and the food and atmosphere was nice. I went for a roast on mothers day and the gravy was delicious, no crackling with the pork which I was happy with because I feel its overrated. I went with my son today and ordered a kids burger and an adults chicken burger. The burger inside the larger bun was the same size as the child's portion. I mentioned this to the waitress, she offered no alternative and seemed a bit rude and had an attitude. Apparently that's the portion size. I told her that I wouldn't order it again and it said to leave a review at the bottom of the receipt which is why I'm doing so. I'd say if you're after a chicken burger then it's better to order the kids portion and pay half the price. The burger was average at best but I could barely taste it as there was so much bread. It came to £26 for an adult and a child's burger and chips, and two lime and soda waters that cost £1 each, Is that good value for money?"

One of the inviting places in Shoreham. Visiting relatives have been to a number and this place offered a pleasant atmosphere with a good selection of beers to choose from.

Family lunch for 5 child, baby and Dog, all very happy with service, food and drinks. Great roast, best for a long time. Veggie, pork and beef were all well cooked. Will be back again soon. Well done team.

Buzzy, atmosphere, delicious food, friendly attentive front of house staff (the lady with big glasses was particularly lovely) and live music. Delicious mussels and steak well presented and promptly served. We had a evening here and will definitely go back thank you!

Never done this before a review based only an impression. But what an impression! Deep breath, this is a longer review than I normally post!.. Just to clarify, we did stop in for a drink before our train back to Londinium. We are looking to move down to Shoreham by Sea; and can safely say that we will certainly be paying a visit(s) to the Tap House. Beginnings can be deceptive. Stepping inside the space felt a little cramped and loud, but take that second step. We moved through to nearer the back and two seats perfect for a Capp and a G.Beer. It was the couple (D&E) we got to know who confirmed what we were already beginning to realise... the food looks delicious (E confirmed this enthusiast...
