"Dieter Edling and his wife Kerstin made it: On June 1, 2019, they celebrate their five-year existence. With “Tapku” they managed to establish themselves. Numerous predecessors failed in the site before. The reason is probably the homemade cakes and cakes. A report in the Cologne city indicator praised the pastry, for example. It tasted strong to paprika and was a little sharp. Also the three dates in the bacon were warm and had a neat taste. Some garlic brought sweet sharp aromas. The three slices of cheese were cheese with bark. The taste corresponded to the norm. The two shrimps were fried in olive oil with chili and garlic. That was also spicy. The four rectangular slices of bread were crucified and had grains in the dark flour. So as a result, it's tasty, but I can make it a bit more beautiful at home. Flame cake with fresh white asparagus and Serrano ham (9,90 € from the daily menu The dish was served on a large, thin, oval wooden board. The flame cake had already been precut in irregular large pieces. The dough was thin, crispy and tasty. The asparagus I had been cut and cooked well. The sections were slightly seasoned. The ham was generously distributed over the whole court. The cream fraiche had been processed yellowish in color. Maybe Eidotter was involved; it almost looked like a Hollandaise. Herb slices were also incorporated. Something powerful or too fat maybe in consistency. But I'm sure I'd try other flashcakes here. The actual strength of the house is, however, surely the cakes from their own production. Many products were filled with nuts. They looked delicious. But there were also at least three cakes without nuts. Cheese cream cake – 3,40 € The dough of the soil was probably a bisquit layer. Very easy and easy. Then followed the cheese cream filling. She was heavenly creamy and airy. Light citrus flavors rounded off the taste. At the top was a thin dough cover, which was covered over and over with fine powder sugar. The piece was quite large – otherwise I would have tasted the chocolate cakes with three kinds without flour. Grape variety with strawberry and rhubarb filling – 3,40 € This piece was also very large (the cake was probably only divided into eight pieces. This dough was also loose and airy. The filling of strawberries and rhubarbs had been marinated and very juicy. The cream was also not so powerful. Just delicious. Drinks Gerolsteiner Sprudel 1,00 l 5,40 € Espresso 2,00 € Cappuccino 2,80 € The coffee was strong and not too hot. The mixed drink had a very creamy milk cream crown on top – with a heart of cocoa. There was also a baked heart made of light grape vinegar with the inscription Tapku. Price performance ratio The cake pieces are really big to the extents and delicious in taste; also the lunch table is properly calculated. Wir haben zuletzt an einem Nachmittag das Cafe Tapku besucht. Der Kaffee war zu dünn und der Kuchen war ok. Ich wünsche mir noch bessere Auswahl an Kuchen, da ich hier nur zum Kaffee trinken gehen.

Dieses Cafe wurrde uns von Freunden empfohlen.Diese sind immer noch Freunde ;-) Wir haben einen klasse Abend bei Hamburgern (Superburger) und Flammkuchen verbracht.Die Kuchen dieses Ladens sind die Wucht und preiswert obendrein.Wir werden dort ab sofort öfters einschlagen

Definitely the best cakes and cakes in Cologne!! For the cake size cheap and fantastic in taste. We're big fans and pick up our cake every Sunday. There is a wide selection and every taste delicious, whether cheese, fruit, chocolate, vegan, gluten-free, dry cake or biscuits, there is something for everyone.

We heard about this cafe since a while but the location is a bit far from our place and city center. As we went there and got our coffee n cakes, we realized, that it wasnt worth the try.The place looked like a simple cheap bistro or something. The coffee was ok but you could got way better cakes somewhere else near.

Wir waren bei Regen unterwegs und hatten Lust auf Kuchen. Laut Internet Recherche wurde das Tapku in Köln mit einer Auszeichnung vom WDR bedacht. Wenns dort Top-Kuchen gibt, dann nix wie hin. Das Café ist klein, aber fein und der Service vom Chef selbst sehr gut. Wir haben zwei von ca. 10 handgemachten Kuchen/Torten probiert. Perfekter Geschmack und Aussehen!Wir kommen wieder und testen die Anderen. Kleiner Anreisetipp: Die Bahnhaltestelle ist nur ca. 50 m entfernt.

Wir hatten heute einen wundervollen Nachmittag im Cafe Tapku nach der Taufe unseres Sohnes. Die perfekte Location für alle, die ein stilvolles, gehobenes und dennoch sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Cafe suchen, welches ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bietet und vielleicht die besten Kuchen / Flammkuchen der Stadt! Besonders die Waldmeistertorte kann ich empfehlen. Gerade weil man aufgrund der Lage nicht zwangsläufig per Zufall daran vorbei kommt, kann ich nur jedem diesen Geheimtipp ans Herz legen - die Inhaber sorgen mit Ihrer freundlichen Art dafür, dass neben den tollen Speisen sich ein jeder direkt willkommen fühlt und auch kleine Kinder sind dort mehr als willkommen. Ein sehr schöner und gepflegter Laden. Mit Außenterrasse beim guten Wetter und toller Einrichtung im Innenbereich, die ohne viel Schischi auskommt. Klein aber fein und sehr vielfältig in der Essens- und Getränkeauswahl. Hervorzuheben sind die langen Öffnungszeiten, bei denen alles angeboten wird: Leckeres Frühstück, wechselnder Mittagstisch und Saisonales, sowie ein großes Angebot an vorzüglichen Kuchen und anderen Naschkram, sowie Abendspeisen in Form von Tapas und Flammkuchen. "We had an important appointment in Cologne and wanted to go for dinner afterwards. It should not be a long menu or include elaborate dishes because we didn't have so much time. It should also be close to the destination. After Christmas and before New Year's Eve, at noon there were not so many locals open business breaks, changed opening hours etc. We found a parking lot on the street and saw Karl Hermanns right in front of us. The restaurant made the impression that it used to house a retail store: shop windows and two entrance doors. Room inside the counter was to be seen directly in the center. On the right there were some tables and high places. Theke Links of this were several bistrotic with benches and chairs. We went there because we don't like sitting on high tables.
