"Lovely spot, decent prices, it just requires some basic signage and a bit of customer service training for the staff. My husband stood patiently at the outdoor serving hatch for five minutes, being totally ignored by the staff inside despite them looking at directly him. How very odd? So we decided to pop back later. On returning we ventured inside and stood at the till conveniently placed near the ice cream counter (as that is what we were wishing to buy) to be further ignored by 3 staff... Eventually I walked further round into the cafe area and asked a member of staff mopping the floor where I could please order to take away? here I was abruptly told. I explained I had been waiting at two other points.. that 's just for collection . No acknowledgement, no apology, obviously I had inconvenienced her. On checking as we walked out I can confirm there is no signage near the outside hatch nor near the ice cream counter to advise they were for collection only. Great location but take your crystal ball and patience with you!"

Came here for lunch, wasn’t expecting much as it was in the middle of nowhere. It was delicious! I got the falafel pitta, unreal!

I've been to this place a few times, and both experiences were very different! the first was the best of both, as for my second visit, my seafood board smelled and tasted a little funny. I guess we'll go back there as soon as the weather gets better!

Visted Taste for some breakfast. They have a great menu with veggie and vegan options available. I decided to have the small vegan breakfast and my friends had salmon and eggs on toast and the small breakfast, none of us were disappointed. Would highly recommend visiting!

the personal is always pleasant and helpful, the cook has picked up my milk allergy requirements and puts itself out to check and adjust what I had chosen from their menu. eating is very nice, well presented and the lookout during the pleasure of the good kitchen makes it easy to visit my favourite place when we stay in portland.

Cafe offering sandwiches. Didn’t fancy the hummus so went for the small plates: guacamole, beetroot salad, falafel bread. It was very nice. Nice small selection of ciders as well. what a wonderful meal! the employees were extremely attentive and explained our grandchildren dinge. this place has the dinge well sorted- enough waiting, kitchen staff who must be extremely organized, amazing decisions, and all in smile mode! before eating came, the children had provided them free books! eating came quite fast, although the place seemed too busy (here my mentioned organization above). all meals were hot and tasty, what more do they want? beautiful decor and thoroughly recommended
