"made a reservation for the evening before my wife's 50th birthday, and we have to say we were thoroughly disappointed.The table we were assigned was right next to the waiting serving station which meant that any possibility of a quiet and intimate atmosphere was lost. More like pedestrian traffic akin to Saturday night at the corner of Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. As the restaurant was full we could only assume that every table had been reserved and ours was just last come last served as without doubt it was the worst table in the restaurant. Slow service as the place was full. 15 minute wait to order. In the meantime a waitress came past and spilt a customers salad on the floor, slashing salad dressing onto the overcoat of a customer at another table, not that the customer noticed or that it was brought to his attention. Not quite what we hoped to see. Wife ordered tartare de boeuf with toast, me rosbeef with allumette fries. Eau gaseuse as apero. Wife was served a salad separately which was intended to be served with the tartare, whilst I sat there like cheese at fourpence with nothing. Small tartare for wife eventually served, along with the rosbeef for me which was so thinly sliced to should have been called carpaccio. My wife's toast was actually just bread. My allumette fries portion was so small it would not have proved adequate for our daughter aged 8. Me and my wife were looking at each other, disbelieving....But the biggest disappointment was yet to come. The bill for said gastronomic delight. For food to feed a sparrow poorly presented, inadequate in amount, poor service, bad tabkle location, one bottle of sparkling water = .......wait for it.....waaaait..........68CHF!!!! And within that amount I find that the bottle of water was 10 CHF....where did it come from at that price, Antarctica??Well, what a real disappointment. Seems this place is "hit and miss" so our recommendation is....just give it a miss. In vact, avoid it. What a poor quality rip-off."

Good restaurant for a proper meal in good price. I recommed filets de perche and tarte au citron. Only minus is an interior deco - could be a little bit refreshed.

I advice this restaurant; you can taste the meats, fishes and the best vines of the region. It is very close to the lake leman and Montreux. The staff is very kind to you and they serve very fast.

Ich finde die Preise auch vollauf Fair.Alle Tische wurden tadellos geputzt und die Stühle waren ungemein bequem.Das Personal hat fix, sauber und nett gearbeitet.Preisgünstige, diverse Auslese an Gerichten und Getränken. Ich habe mich mit meiner Herzensdame wirklich überaus darüber gefreut, also doch ein Lokal in unserer Nähe entdeckt zu haben, welches wir uns ohne Einschränkung auch nach wie vor am Monatsende leisten können. During our vacation ; we came this restaurant several times. First i can say that the restaurant has a perfect location ; very close to the lake leman and the castle; you can walk these places with walking in 1 minute or less. The restaurant has a lovely nature , you can see it outside when you enter indide and sit a chair. The owners and staff always smile you and want to have conversations with you. We had lots of conversations in the morning while drinking our coffees, espressos, in the lunch or dinner while eating our meat, pizza or pastas.
