"What a lovely surprise! We were in Vevey on our way home from the mountains and happened upon this brilliant Indian restaurant. Honestly it was the best Chicken Tikka Masala I have ever had and I've had hundreds!! The rice portions were also extremely generous! The service was so friendly too! We will certainly be back!!"

We had a very enjoyable meal in Swagat. Everything was tasty, but special mention to the Chicken Tikka Masala. I can't remember tasting such a delicious rendition.

Authentic and fresh Indian food. Don’t miss their Tandoor items as well as the biryanis. Might as well eat extra as the stroll along the lake near the restaurant will help with digestion :

Le Jardin d'Asie, vénérable restaurant chinois veveysan, a fermé ses portes au début 2016...Il a été repris par des restaurateurs proposant une excellente cuisine indienne sous le nom de Swagat, enfin un resto indien digne de ce nom à Vevey! A découvrir absolument!
