"We recently discovered this little gem during a day trip, and we wish we lived closer! The service was very friendly, and the food was delicious, with a great selection of dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, there were no tables available when we arrived, but as suggested, we waited at the bar until one became free. The home-cooked food was incredibly tasty, and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait for my next visit!"

"Food wasnt cooked properly all cold meat was tough staff werent much better either when we complained there attitude was we will make you something else but we will have to charge you i wouldnt mind but he was only going to settle for a kids pizza as he was so hungry and fed up with the meal her attitude was we have had no complaints all day well you try cutting into it then she then reheated up one of the roasts again but you guessed the meat was then extra tough the only time they were customer friendly was when we asked them if they would take a photo for us which you have guessed by now they may have to charge us lol well we did get a smile out of them when we came to pay the bill which then we was told to enjoy the rest of your day which i thought well at least i have had my cold dinner and tough meat to feel me up and also may i point out is not very disabled friendly trying to go to the toilet is like an assult cause never mind it is what is"

"We were recommended to the Manor by friends, and we left feeling quite satisfied overall. The menu offered a wide variety of choices, along with some specials, all at reasonable prices. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious—served in generous portions and piping hot. We will definitely return, provided they can address the heating situation (it was a mild January lunchtime, yet some of our party kept their coats and scarves on throughout the meal). Additionally, while there was an impressive selection of beer taps, there was only one option for draught bitter."

"We choose this restaurant for our special occasions, and this time it was for our 50th anniversary dinner, which we celebrated with our children and two dear friends of ours. As always, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The highlight of the evening was the outstanding performance by the singer Irie J, who truly elevated our experience with top-notch entertainment."

"This is the first time we have been to this restaurant under this management. The restaurant itself looked lovely and the staff were very welcoming. We were seated and two waitresses asked what we would like to drink! A little while later our order was taken. Our starters duly arrived and they were delicious, sadly we waited a very long while for our plates to be cleared. Our mains arrived a bit later, unfortunately the wrong main had been served and we had to send it back, we sat for a while and then my husband asked for his dinner to be kept warm whilst waiting for mine. When we received the correct meals the food was delicious. We had then finished our mains and again waited a while for plates to be cleared. Once the plates had been cleared we waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our dessert order, the waitress did apologise and said they were having huge problems with the tills. Desserts duly came out and unfortunately I had to send mine back as I had custard instead of cream, in Franco’s defence they did take the price of the dessert off the bill. We weren’t offered more drinks until we had nearly finished desserts and to be honest we weren’t going to chase this. Overall the food is delicious and fantastic value for money but the service on this particular night was a shambles which is so sad as this restaurant could be amazing."
