Thali Cafe - Piatti

Popped in for a thali after a visit to IKEA with my daughter. Food was delicious.

Always one of my favourite places to eat in Bristol. Friendly staff, great food, lovely atmosphere.

Absolutely scrumptious food. Yum yum. Friendly staff and great value for money. Good choice of vegan dishes too. My favourite dish was the Keralean salad. So delicious

Everything about this place is what I love incredible authentic Thalis, although this time I had the Sri Lankan Omelette which is a perfect breakfast. Amazing bauhemian atmosphere and great staff.

Very disappointed with the thali of late. Have been a regular customer since it opened a longtime ago. The menu is limited and only 2 dishes I recommend. Omg I was travelling into Bristol to meet friends and thought it would be a great idea to order food to go ...which I did and I got notifications etc and a final email to say it was ready only to turn up and have to wait approximately an hour to actually get our take away!! If I knew there was such a long delay I wouldn't have ordered...if the communication was better we may have gone and come back or cancelled the order, in any case it's put me off going. The food however is really good

Every time I went past this place, I saw people eat masala dosa. May be a good place for dosa and other street foods, but Thali is not up to the mark, and definitely a Thali is not complete if you serve it without a chapati. As an Indian who knows Thali in India, curries were sub-standard here, and the Thali plate was sad looking. The aloo side dish had no salt in it. Rice was nowhere near hot. It was almost room temperature. Staff were friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was great. Sad to say, Thali at Thali sucks, despite trying it again second time after 2016, nothing has improved. Extortionate prices too. I will definitely go again but try dosa.

Totally dysfunctional, we went there, ordered food came out wrong, rather than resolving, the waitress started stating its not her fault as she didn't take the order. This is 1. Not the point and 2. You represent the establishment. We never implied that it was her fault, but after three attempts to bring out the wrong food, we had to step in firmly and were offered an immediate refund for the mistaken dish. This is OK, but for such a simple menu, not acceptable situation. Secondly, 20 mins to get a masala Chai. Until we chased, no one was dealing with the order. It was ready to go. We were there for almost 2 hours for a fast lunch. Not visiting again. Visualizza piatti
