A very extensive and varied vegetarian and vegan menu, all food was hot, served quickly and so tasty. Such good prices for the portion size and quality of the food too. We can’t wait to come back.

very friendly pub with super eating. nothing was too much for them we were a table of 6 and one with heavy allergies on ice and milk and they could not help enough. can not wait to come back and visit, eat all freshly cooked and. very tasty.

I was in 4 nights when I was a solo travel partner, the meals were very good I enjoyed everyone. they have to taste the Sunday dinner, it was melted in the mouth of bark and huge Yorkshire doll with all the circumcisions. everyone has made me welcome and I want to thank them.

Me my partner and son went for Sunday lunch and I must say it was outstanding! My son and I had the belly buster and there was loads of meat that was all very soft and tasty. The homemade gravy was lovely and the service...was excellent. Good choice of desserts,we had Eton mess , honeycomb cheesecake and chocolate gateux all very nice. for a family birthday waiting for an hour to arrive for eating there was only one table of two in, five meals came out that were finished before the remaining four meals came only terrible service when we complained that we were told to the cook...has cooked the children's meals first, which was not true, since we had only two children's meals, we will never go again absolutely shockingly to go back to

I stayed in Aikton for a week and dined at the Aikton Arms three nights in a row. As of now, the restaurant is only open for dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The food is delicious, freshly cooked, served hot, and the portions are generous. There is a wide selection on the menu. The prices are very reasonable, with a two-course meal for two plus a beer or two costing around £40. It is definitely worth the value. The staff are friendly and attentive as well.

After a busy day my partner and I decided to go out for dinner and wanted to go somewhere with a nice friendly atmosphere and relaxing natural views so a friend suggested The Aikton Arms. The establishment, atmosphere and staff were extremely friendly, warm and welcoming and we could feel ourselves unwinding from the moment we arrived. The service was first class with very experienced, professional and attentive staff. Nothing was to much. We were greeted, served our drinks and shown to our table within 2mins of entering the bar. * we will always be a very warm greeting from...Wendy and her team that I really love and nothing is too much annoyed. we have eaten there a few times and eating is excellent, Sunday roasting is the best I ever had, delicious meat and much of it, homemade yorkshire puddings and a lot of sweet.
