The home-cooked food at this charming village pub, run by a friendly family, is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal.

The food was delicious and the fries were particularly tasty. The portions were generous and we left feeling satisfied. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It was our first time dining here, but we will definitely be returning soon. The atmosphere was welcoming and we highly recommend this restaurant.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Albert Inn, we were a party of 11 including 3 children, 1 vegetarian and 2 vegans. Clive, Diane and their team went over and above to make sure all our needs were taken care of, even down to homemade vegan Yorkshire puddings! The food was great, and the atmosphere welcoming and fun we would highly recommend it

I love this place! A proper pub serving an excellent Sunday lunch. We were made very welcome by the landlord and landlady who are lovely people. Full of character! And the meal was fab. Plenty of everything. I'll certainly be back. It warms yer cockles finding a down to earth, unspoilt pub like this. The ale was kept well and top notch too. Thanks Clive and Di! x

This pub is absolutely fantastic. We decided to drop in for a quick lunch and were blown away by the quality of the food. My husband ordered the 1-foot long baguette stuffed with beef and onions, and it was filled to the brim with delicious flavors. I tried the homemade pie, which was incredible, and even my simple ham sandwich was anything but ordinary. All the dishes were reasonably priced and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this pub for its cozy atmosphere and charm that is often missing in village pubs.

Majority of dishes that we requested off the menu were Sorry, just check, NO While deciding the landlord sat at our table listening to our discussions. I ordered a cheese burger with salad, it arrived on a board , cheap recently defrosted bread cob, one slice of tomato lettuce, shortly afterwards I was presented with 3 onion rings carried in the landlords bare hands like rings on his fingers. The chips were inferior frozen from Moggies, as we were proudly told this. We should have refused to pay, but we did and left as soon as possible......... Disaster !!!!
