This is one of the better places to go in Balloch: The pub is nice and warm and the selection of beers is nice. They have some vegan food but it is not very prominently presented on the menu and quite pricey.

great pub with log fire very friendly host and friendly staff and beautiful environment in free. would highly recommend eating as well as the large selection of quality drinks. one of the dog-friendly pubs in the opposite also a bonus! would definitely return! many thanks.

they have a seperate vegan menu with a good number of options. I tried her falafel star, butternut quash and coconut curry, and the most exciting apple crumb for dessert! all I had was really delicious and quite expensive. the restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. one of the best restaurants in balloch. it is located right next to the national park balloch and it is just a few minutes from the train station. they have a good selection of foods such as burger, seafood, steaks, pasta and children's menus. eating is rich in taste and really delicious. it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it.

we ate here in juli 2019. the menu had marked clearly vegan options, but when it came, there was butter on our teller. the pub is not located in the owned, so it felt like the main office is a menu with vegan options, but do not train employees on what that meant. the pub atmosphere was beautiful and the service was friendly. would visit again, but explain vegan nutrition more cautious.

As it‘s been said, there is a separate vegan menu available with quite a lot of options for a „normal“ restaurant (3 starters, 5 mains and 3 desserts). We had the Winter Salad, Soup of the day (a separate vegan one with parsnip and apple), the Tomato Tarte and the Wrap with relish. Everything was delicious and very fresh.
