Old school pub with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Good menu choices, lovely food and all at very reasonable prices.

Second visit in three weeks. Great food superb staff, great choice of real ale plus we had a 15 month old with us, she enjoyed the children's menu.

Met my husband and sister went yesterday had Sunday lunch we all had the roast beef it was delicious the staff was lovely and friendly we'll definitely go back again

We went tonight we booked in advance and we were told sorry you can only order mains ? Very disappointed looking forward to a family meal very disappointed, but we all went along with thos request..... I ordered steak it was the worst not to my requirement med rare it was over cooked indeed And like I said very disappointed the rest of our party were ok with the meals but you could see it was a rushes event we were all a bit taken back Visualizza piatti

Three of us visited at lunchtime. The pub itself is very pleasant, cosy, comfortable, and old fashioned. The choice of real ale (6 pumps) is a beer lovers delight and it is exceptionally well kept. We had three different meals, each of which was of much higher quality than you generally expect in a pub. The staff are outstanding, courteous, attentive, friendly and very helpful. The Baum is a real hidden gem and a credit to it's owners. If you're a beer fan or a food lover, this one is not to be missed. Easily one of the best pubs I have ever visited.

We used to go regularly to The Baum but fell out of love with it after a couple of very disappointing visits. Out of the blue we decided to visit again 3 weeks ago. So far we have been back 4 times! Superb staff. A great selection of beers and ales. A proper good old fashioned pub ambiance as well. Best of all though is the food. Wow! Simple dishes taken to another level. Thanks to all those involved at The Baum. The people behind the bar who greet you with a smile. The excellent, talkative and cheery staff who wait on you when eating there. And of course those behind the scenes in the kitchen. Your food is amazing. For me, it’s the best pub in Rochdale!

What a gorgeous little gem. Passing through Rochdale we wanted somewhere nice for a healthy pub lunch. This was a stunning little historic pub apparently fully a slice of the past, preserved on a tiny street with gas lamps opposite a huge church, beside a building that commemorates the start of the cooperative movement and is now a museum. As if that was not enough, the food was fabulous, fresh, beautifully put together — we had a tapas like collection of delicious plates. The beer was real ale and the staff we met were just so personable and friendly. We ate under a pretty tree in the back garden but there were lovely small saloons inside looking like something out of diagon alley. You have... Visualizza piatti
