This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The staff and atmosphere were lovely. The drinks and service were outstanding. I definitely recommend it, especially for families.

Had a groupon voucher and completely forgot the expiry date was the same day , called up and they were more than helpful and took our voucher code over the phone so we could book in the following day. Staff were extremely friendly and the scones were delicious.

Yesterday during the march, this pub allowed served a group of far right thugs who hurled vile racist abuse at peaceful protesters, including small children! They should have been banned immediately! Not what I expect from such a reputable establishment. Would definitely not want to bring my family round this kind of clientele

Terrible experience at the Bay Horse pub. My elderly father came to pick me and a friend up and was rudely confronted by a staff member accusing him of parking illegally. When I went to confront the management, I was shocked to find that the manager himself was the one shouting at us and refusing to listen to our side of the story. Avoid this place and the unprofessional management put in place by Greene King before it ruins the business.

Went for lunch we were the only people in at the time , John who served us very friendly welcoming and fantastic service as the afternoon went on it became very busy , and John was own his own , still gave a friendly smile and great service to all . The food was very good well presented and very tasty . I had the ribs the meat fell off the bone very tender , I also had the chicken wings great taste , friend had mozzarella sticks, haddock Goujons . Good food would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere as well .

It is worth noting the review from May 2020, in which it was mentioned that the restaurant is now under new management and committed to assisting customers with parking issues. However, my experience was quite different. I received a parking ticket after visiting the pub late one Thursday evening. When I inquired about the situation, I was initially told that they have a car park. But when I mentioned the parking ticket, I was informed that it was managed by a third party and not their responsibility. This inconsistency was disappointing, as there were no clear signs indicating the need to pay for parking. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I will not be returning to the pub in the futur...

Went to this pub after reading some of the recent reviews for Sunday lunch and we were so disappointed and disgusted by how we were served and what was served to us it is unreal! The food looked lovely but tasted awful! The vegetables were stone cold! My friend had the roast beef and it was so overcooked it was almost black and as tough as leather. The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked and just horrid. The roasties would have been nice had they been warm. The lamb was ok, mine was tough. It was just so cold! The gravy was vile... It had this horrible tomato taste to it. When the waitress asked if the food was ok, we said not really, it 's really cold, especially the vegetables ... Her respo...

I drove into The Bay Horse car park hoping to park. I was unable to get through to the car parking as you have to call the number as you cant pay with cash. I called the number 4 times and tried to download the app, without success. I decided I would find somewhere else to park. Which I did, I then received a parking charge for overstaying 15 sec's, £60.00. I too called the pub to explain and was told by one of the staff there called Jordan that, there was no need to pay. I was gifted an afternoon tea with a glass of prosecco,through Groupon as a xmas gift for four. We booked for Sunday 16th Feb . Unfortunately only three of us could make it. Weather was awful outside, storms rain, but on entering the Bay Horse we were welcomed into a traditional pub with a modern decor. Above all it was very clean, well decorated and nice and warm. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly young lady, offered a hot drink seated by the window. A selection of teas were offered she was patient while we decided.
