"We booked lunch at 2pm for 2 px. I ordered the £29 prawn curry which sounded fabulous. The dish was a disappointment too salty and not especially tasty, although the prawns were fabulous. The curry was served in a hot metal bowl, with the rice in an identical metal bowl. I wasn’t given a spoon or ladle, so I ended up shovelling the rice into the curry bowl using a fork. This produced a sort of risotto with prawns. It wasn’t easy to eat with a knife and fork so I had to ask for a spoon. The staff were few and far between, and nobody asked how the meal had been. I asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill, which the server did without hesitation or question. We walked out feeling disappointed. Such a shame as the location is fantastic, but let down by average food and poor service from staff who couldn’t care less."

Enjoyed an amazing dinner at the Beach Club restaurant recently. The food was delicious, the service first rate and the atmosphere just what we remembered from previous visits, probably even better. We were a party of 14 including several children and, although we must have tried the patience of the staff, it was never apparent. I had mussels and a T bone steak absolutely superb. The food was very overpriced for what it was. The children’s menu states ice cream and drink included, this was not the case when the bill came! Charged adult price for 1 scoop of ice cream and for the drink! Also charged for having water on the table. Plus a service charge was added as compulsory not voluntary. When queried with the waitress, she said it was all standard and that was the final bill! Over £200 for 5 adults and 1 child to eat a main dish! Definitely won’t be dining there again!! The views are stunning though!
