Attended on a Sunday for the carvery, the meat was tasty and well cooked, though the vegetables seemed to be some what under cooked. I would attend again without rushing back

Fantastic food and drinks, Ash was by far the best staff in here! Nothing was to much effort even when he clocked off he still provided top service and gave us all a free shot! Well done guys we will definitely be calling again.

Pre ordered vegan Sunday dinner and was very impressed, the mediterranean tart was lovely and fresh veg was prepared separately which was by far the best I've had in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas in terms of effort and value for money. Delicious! Visualizza piatti

Carvery excellent as always, we visit most Sundays and the service seems to be much better this year. Claire and Beth who are front of house are attentive and friendly great customer service every time. The food as always is fantastic and the best carvery I’ve experienced this far, can’t say enough good things about the staff and the Sunday food for 2023.

As always the carvery here is 10/10 never misses a beat and the carver who is on every Sunday is excellent a friendly face with fast service. However, I advise going 15 mins before your slot as you can be queuing out the door for 15-20 mins before making it to the bar. The bar and the carvery section being next to one another isn’t ideal as it creates chaos and a lot of pushing and shoving. Also the new restaurant manager is very polite and approachable. But as far as food goes and the waitresses service it’s worth it

I recently visited the new Beckwood restaurant to celebrate my granddaughter's exam results with a party of five. I must say, the service was excellent. Each of our five meals was cooked to perfection and the bartender was attentive, ensuring our drinks were always topped up without us having to leave the table. The young man was a credit to the New Beckwood. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to family and friends, as well as anyone else who may not know me. We went to the restaurant for lunch and initially looked at the evening menu, but found the prices to be too high. Luckily, we were given the lunch menu instead. My husband ordered the pie while I chose the gammon. My gammon came with only chips and peas, which I thought could have been accompanied by a pineapple, egg, or even a tomato. The chips were lukewarm and seemed reheated. The pie had gravy inside, but more gravy was served in a gravy boat. Like my dish, the pie also came with just chips and peas. My husband was satisfied with his meal, but I felt like I needed more food.

Went here about a year ago and ended up leaving a terrible review due to the chips being too salty and the gravy being like runny tomato ketchup. However, after being persuaded to go back and try again due to being under new management, we ended up having a really nice meal from the lunch time menu. Me and the hubby both had cheesey potato skins for starters, turkey and ham pie for mains which came with homemade chip and peas, then I had biscoff cheesecake and he had chocolate fudge cake. Safe to say we were both happily stuffed! We will deffo be going back to try more of their dishes, and their Sunday carvery as this seems to be very popular! We visited this restaurant for the first time and had some trouble finding it. The exterior of the pub looked like a typical estate pub, but the interior was surprisingly modern and contemporary. There weren't many people dining when we arrived, I believe because it was just before 3pm. The staff were friendly and the menu had a good selection of options. I ordered a burger while my wife chose the gammon. The food looked great when it arrived, although I wasn't a fan of it being served on something other than a plate.
