Frosty walk on the Sandstone trail followed by a warm welcome at the Bickerton Poacher from Gavin and Daniel. Delicious homemade broccoli soup and ham sandwich and a Cajun chicken panini with salad and fries… perfect for sharing!! So glad we called in and will definitely be back soon.

Amazing service. Daniel, Laura and Nathan were a pleasure. The smiles never left their face. They are a shining example of todays youth. I went to the restaurant for pie but decided to try the stew and dumplings instead. It was a fantastic decision! The service was attentive, friendly, and fast. The food was top-notch and the beer was served cold. Laura and Sabrina took great care of us and I will definitely be coming back.

We had an amazing experience at the Sunday carvery! Our springer spaniel, Holly, was warmly welcomed with a dog bowl of water and biscuits after a lovely walk. Special thanks to our waitress, Gracie Daniel. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and dog-friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic stay at the bickerton poacher, big shout out to Dan and Holly who made our stay welcoming, warm and friendly! We had a comfy and pleasurable stay. Fantastic food and a great variety of beverages on offer also. the location was ideal for what we were seeking. Dan and Holly as well as all the staff, chefs and cleaners couldn’t do enough for us. We will absolutely be back 5

We stayed this weekend and must say everytime we stay it’s fantastic. The Room was clean, fresh and decorated to a high standard. No expense spared. Comfortable and spacious. Excellent kids play area for the little ones to run around so there not board. The Food was amazing, all freshly cooked and not one microwave meal to be seen. Great menu choice and extremely large desert choice. All looked amazing. We will definitely be visiting again.

I decided to try the carvery at this restaurant, as I have always had a good experience with tasty food in the past. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time as the quality has declined significantly since my last visit. The meat was overcooked and dry, the new pigs in blankets tasted cheap and had gristle in them, and the broccoli cauliflower cheese was barely cooked, as were the green beans. I noticed that they no longer source their meat from Hampton meats, but instead from a budget supplier, yet the prices remain the same, if not higher at £16. The service was slow and it seemed like they were short-staffed. I will not be going back or recommending this establishment. Visualizza piatti
