"On a Sunday, we visited the restaurant for some delicious pub food while enjoying the garden ambiance before the match. We ordered Scampi with chips and mushy peas, as well as a chicken burger with chips. Both dishes were amazing, with perfectly cooked chips, succulent chicken breast, and a side of crisp salad with coleslaw. The simple pub grub was executed excellently. The service was friendly and efficient, with Debbie providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere as always."

Friday nights wood fired pizza. You have a good choice of toppings so something for everyone. Friendly pub, dogs welcome, lovely garden for the summer.

We booked for Sunday Lunch when our friends were visiting from Yorkshire It was the Xmas Market weekend We really enjoyed the meal our roasts were perfect Its a lovely pub everyone was so friendly helpful

The service was excellent, with a very friendly woman making you feel welcome as soon as you entered the restaurant. The Sunday roast was delicious, with even the vegetables being well-prepared, which is not always the case with this dish.

Was recommended this pub whilst investigating my ancestry in Hertford and I have to say what a lovely pub it is too...staff really friendly and welcoming, a warm atmosphere. Will be back during my next visit to Hertford. Would give you 10 stars Visualizza piatti

The service from staff was excellent and how they delt with the awfull comments of discrimination to disabilities to children with needs,as I was sat with my neice who’s brother is serverly disabled we felt intimidated by it.one other of the customers jumped up and said something to him trying to escalate it I feel the staff was very atentive and shut the situation down pretty well many thanks to them

This charming pub has a relaxed atmosphere that I really enjoy. It was my second visit and I had a great experience both times. Today, I ordered a delicious, freshly made omelette with salad and a refreshing pint of soda on tap, all for less than ten pounds which felt like a great deal. The outdoor garden is lovely with plenty of secluded tables and beautiful flowers, making it a perfect spot to bring your dog. There is also a small play area for children.
