A wonderful place with kind, friendly staff and lovely food. I strongly believe in supporting smaller businesses (the massive chains have enough money! and this place reinforces that belief. The duck bun is great as is their oat hot chocolate. Highly recommended!

Great little place next to Zara. The food was very fresh and tasty, especially liked the home-made beans! Strong and flavourful coffee, although a bit too cold for me. The only thing detracting from the experience is the space inside, or rather the lack of space. On a rainy day in London, it was a bit cold with open doors...

I had a fantastic breakfast! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, with the perfect balance of egg and sweetness. The crispy duck was delicious, and the sweet potatoes added a delightful touch. The English-style baked beans tasted homemade, with a bit of spice and a rich, tangy tomato flavor. Can't fault it. The waitress was sweet, patient and helpful. The meal, well, I didn't expect it but it was delicious. I had crispy duck. Duck is not usually my thing. However, I fancied something different. I have no regrets. Tasted so good. The duck was crispy indeed, the sweet potatoes were yummy, the egg was runny and delicious, the spinach made me want to become Popeye. So, so good. Highly recommended. It's a shame they don't do buy one get one free. Even the non alcoholic Orchard Sunrise drink was tasty. Well done Black Penny.

The food, coffee, and service were all delicious. As someone with coeliac disease, I appreciated that the gluten-free options were clearly labeled, which made me feel more at ease. However, I found the portion size a bit small compared to the price of other dishes, and the duck in the duck hash was slightly dry. Other than that, the flavors were fantastic. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is that the restaurant was really cold inside due to the doors being left open while the waitstaff served the outdoor diners, which caused my food and coffee to cool down quickly.

I believe my dining experience could have been significantly improved if I had selected a different dish. I wanted to try their salmon, but unfortunately, they had already run out. As a result, I opted for the Caesar salad, which was quite disappointing. However, I did try the braised lamb shoulder, and that was much better. They also offer a nice brunch menu. The food did take a bit longer to arrive, but the service was good. Since it was a hot summer day, we chose to sit outside, and the sun was directly on us the entire time. I wish they would have provided some shade, not just for us, but for all patrons. Overall, it was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy brunch. Visualizza piatti
