I had been really looking forward to visiting this place, however I was quite disappointed with the food. My tofish burger was so bland, as was my friends burger. We did share some cheese sticks which were so so good, I will be back for the cheese sticks and to support a vegan pub, however I would love it if they look in to some more flavoursome options for mains! This was my first time at a vegan restaurant, and it left me with high expectations moving forward. I loved the burger, and my friend got the mac and cheese which tasted exactly like real cheese. The portion sizes are pretty big and they have a great drink selection, the staff is really friendly too. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody, even staunch omnivores will be impressed.

I was really looking forward to visiting here after hearing so much about it on Instagram, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. My friends and I had the tofish burger and the chorizo burger and they were both so dry and tasteless I ended up using a lot of salt and mayonnaise to try and add some flavour! Also my friends food arrived so late by the time it had arrived we had all finished ours!

We decided to grab a quick lunch at this restaurant while exploring the area. The menu is limited, but everything is vegan. We each ordered an Indian Potato Burger with fries and salad. The burger was delicious and the fries were good, but the salad was disappointing as it was just a pile of lettuce. It would have been better with some tomatoes or other ingredients to add some flavor, as the burger was a bit dry. I had heard great things about this restaurant, but I am always skeptical. I decided to bring my dad, grandad, and partner and we were all pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the food. Even my grandad, who typically only eats traditional war foods like beef stews, chicken, and carbs, tried everything and loved it! We tried everything on the menu except for the tofu and rice, and we were really impressed with all of the dishes. The grilled cheese and chorizo was amazing, the macaroni was delicious, we especially enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and fries, and the kimchi balls were our favorite. I went here with my boyfriend for a few drinks and dinner before the cinema on Saturday night. It’s perfectly located near Angel station in a quiet, cool part of Islington. There was a relaxed atmosphere that was just bustling enough, and the staff were so nice. This is a vegan pub, which was great as we knew we could get any drink we wanted without having to get our phones out to check ingredients. There’s a good range of vegan burgers on the menu, along with cheesy polenta chips (delicious) and mozzarella sticks. All vegan! I walked into the pub and immediately felt uncomfortable as two older men tried to chat up me and my cousin, who are in our early 20s. However, I understand that this is not the pub's fault, so I didn't think too much of it. The atmosphere was strange, and the price of £7 for a large glass of house white wine seemed quite high. We ordered our food at the bar - I got the green mac and cheese and my cousin got the seitan burger. We were excited to try the food as we had heard good things about this place.
