The Boars Head - Piatti

Welcomed in by the landlord. It feels like a locals pub but one where you are very welcome. Got there early for dinner which began serving at 5pm so glad we waited as the jerk chicken with rice was out of this world.

Impromptu evening meal on a rainy Summers evening.Great welcome from friendly staff and our dog was welcome to sit with us inside. Relaxed atmosphere. Didn’t venture outside due to the rain. Food was brilliant cannot fault it! Even got the leftovers parcelled up to take home.

My first visit to the Boars Head for Sunday lunch was outstanding. The service was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I have already recommended it to friends and will definitely be returning. Thank you. Visualizza piatti

What a wonderful Sunday lunch, all fresh and piping hot . Staff very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed every bite . Must book next time , very popular but managed to get a table , got our meal within a few minutes and was piping hot. Thankyou will definitely come again, will book.

What a charming pub! The food was incredibly tasty and definitely worth a try. The portion sizes are quite generous as well. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant are delightful. The owners have done a fantastic job creating a cozy and welcoming environment. I highly recommend a visit.

We stopped by on our way back to Humberston after a long journey on our motorbike. My husband enjoyed his beer and the homemade food was absolutely delicious. The Lincolnshire Gliding Club held its Annual General Meeting in the Snug at the Boars Head 2 nights ago. We were really well looked after by Mark all evening. Ten of us had a meal before the meeting which everyone agreed was excellent. I can certainly recommend the Chicken Jerk and the burgers were very popular. An excellent evening all round.

We visited the pub as a family party of 11 whilst staying at a nearby holiday complex. The pub is nicely decorated and welcoming staff upon arrival. Good selection of beers and ales on tap. We all ordered a Sunday lunch which had a selection of three meats. Absolutely fantastic food, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I would definitely return when I’m next visiting the Louth area.

We called in today on the off chance, they were fully booked but managed to squeeze 4 of us in. They had sold out of beef so I had to go for pork which would not be my choice but was getting late and was hungry. Well. What can I say! The best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had! Cracking was to die for, all home made and the service was exceptional. Will defiantly be going back. A hidden gem. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
