Went for Sunday food in late afternoon, unfortunately couldn't get a table as that busy which is a good sign of the food and service Atmosphere: 4

I'd class this place as my local, but think that the full potential of the pub is not being used. The bar staff are friendly and there is live entertainment in most weekends with all the football being shown too. Bar prices are a little steep in comparison to other pubs in the area.

This place is great for meeting up with friends and having a bite to eat, lovely atmosphere and the staff are smashing, lots of food discounts, different days, different discounts, food well cooked and presented, love the chips. Ended up at the boat house twice this week. It was the perfect place to meet up with old friends and to grab a bite to eat. The food was lovely. Had the boathouse burger and salt and pepper bites, beef and ale pie, haloumi strips, fries and chicken bites with sweet chilli.
