The staff were really friendly, the food was cooked perfectly. We're not regular customers, HOWEVER we have never been disappointed with the service. Hooray

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my friend at this restaurant. It was busy, but we didn't have to wait long at all. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Another great meal. Sea bass ordered again and perfectly cooked and presented. Always a risk when you’ve enjoyed something but it was as good as the first time. Rump steak lovely. Great welcome and atmosphere

Had a fabulous evening for my daughter’s 18th birthday family meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They were more than happy to look after the birthday cake and made sure when to bring it out. They helped to make it special. Food was great too. Couldn’t fault it. Thanks to all.

Came in this evening for a drink after work, atmosphere was lovely the young lady who was cleaning the tables was very welcoming and kind. However I'm not sure if it was a member of management behind the bar but I felt she was very rude to certain customers and she wasn't very welcoming I think management need to sort themselves out as they are supposed to represent the brand.

Surprisingly, this pub is located on a very busy traffic island. It is impossible to reach on foot safely. The pub itself is spacious and clean. Unfortunately, my Surf and Turf meal was disappointing. The rump steak was incorrectly cooked, there were only two prawns (one shrivelled up), a mushroom and hard peas from a previously returned plate, and frozen chips. Overall, the dish was not worth the price charged.

Not been to The Bowling Green for a while and we were in Lichfield so thought we would pop in for Sunday lunch. We had a turkey and beef sunday dinner. As soon as my husband came from the bar ordering the food arrived like within 5 mins. The food came on a cold plate I touched the vegetables and they were not even warm. I asked for it to be taken back. It came back out .the veg was warm ish. But the plate again stone cold. The parsnips were dried up the roast potatoes were frozen ones. The meat was so dry had to have a drink after each chew . I left some of the meal. Honest I never moan about my food but this was awful. Give it a miss and save your money. I used to come here years ago and use to be place to have couple drinks and start a night off. However ... me and my partner fancied some food , and I always felt I'd come here for some food, we had the turkey Sunday dinner. I have to be hoenst now, it wasn't great at all , I was so disappointed. The broccoli was hard ,the potato's was hard ,so was the Yorkshire pudding and also my partner was so disappointed and that kind of upset me also has not just me that felt this.
