"Rude server who raised his voice to me. Kept asking if I have a booking even after I have been seated and details have been taken previously. There was one other table occupied in the restaurant. It was a Wednesday evening, not expecting lots of traffic in the restaurant anyway. I have eaten a few times in the restaurant before. I made annual trips there for business and always stay in the hotel and at the same time dine there. But not this time. And never again. I do not tolerate bad service."

Super beer and goat cheese salad! Very good fish extremely. The selection of the three Sorbets was excellent.

Food was great and as a non meat eater I had choice eating there two evenings running. Staff were very friendly but also professional. We hope to go back in the future.

LOVELY QUIRKY DECORATED RESTAURANT. EXCELLENT SERVICE. They moved out of the DUCK Light. He has urged CHEF to renew DISH with IT and IT. It is not so good that it is worthwhile if you have calculated it and prepared it and the hotel is the case.

Very calm, well trained staff, all were very attentive and made you feel welcome. Service was excellent we had one meal that was a little dry but when we asked for sauce it was no trouble, the waitress accepted our comments and fetched a freshly made sauce immediately.

The restaurant's setting was lovely and the brasserie was tastefully decorated. It was peaceful with only five pairs/groups booked. The food was a bit disappointing considering the price, as it didn't exceed expectations. However, the waiter was very attentive. In general, the experience would have been better for a lower price, but we decided to dine there regardless.

Beautiful setting, extremely yummy menu with lots of traditional British choices. The meal took some time to arrive, but we didn't mind as had lots to talk about with friends, however the MaitreD apologised and insisted that our desserts were complementary. This made a real impact on us and we would definitely reccomend dinner here to anyone. The service is second to none and when the food does arrive it is certainly worth the wait!! :
