"We dined at the restaurant for the first time last night and were truly impressed by the menu, the staff's knowledge, and their professionalism. It seems that the restaurant team is relatively new, as there were some minor issues. Unfortunately, two drinks were spilled over customers by the waiting staff while we were there, with one of the spills being a glass of red wine on me, potentially staining my brand new clothes irreversibly. However, the staff handled the situation very well, being extremely apologetic and even offering to cover the cost of dry cleaning. Despite this mishap, it did not affect our enjoyment of the meal. What really topped off the experience for us was that the restaurant allowed us to spend the night in our campervan in the car park, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend Hiraeth Kitchen to our friends and family and look forward to returning in the future."

Had an excellent lunch at this restaurant - the portions were generous and piping hot. The 12oz steak was particularly delicious, as was the mixed grill and ribeye. The service was very friendly and I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic friendly pub brilliant staff and food extremely tasty. The steak and fish were very good quality savoured every mouthful. Portions were perfect and all served within a very reasonable time. Wanted to keep the camembert wheel a secret because it was so good I could have eaten that alone with a bottle of red.

Make sure to visit Hiraeth in 2023. They offer a carefully curated 7-course tasting menu in a charming country pub. The team at Hiraeth is passionate, creative, and has something truly unique to offer. Their exceptional food utilizes locally sourced Welsh ingredients in a refined manner. This is a charming pub with excellent food and staff who are welcoming, friendly and intelligent. I 'm conscious that 'intelligent ' is an odd word to use in a review like this but I got the sense when conversing with the staff, particularly our waitress, that they actually listen when you talk to them and any response, whether to a request or general chatter, is considered and smart. I said the food was excellent, and it was.
