This was supposed to be Chicken burger with lettuce and mayonnaise.. just received ..very sad looking

Over priced and all around not good food, ordered a enchilada and the sauce was watery and ruined the meal and also had a full breakfast and the potato scones and slice were like cardboard would avoid better places around

I visited this restaurant for the first time and will definitely be back. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Now I'm enjoying the best piece of old-fashioned cake ever.

The food at this restaurant is consistently fresh and delicious. They offer take-out service for lunch at an affordable price of £1–10 per person. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5 and the service a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying their soup.

My wife and I ordered a steak sandwich for takeout and we both absolutely loved it. The staff member who served us at the Wee take window was very friendly to my dog and even gave him a hug in exchange for a paw shake! We will definitely be returning soon.

This is the best wee Bistro in Greenock. The food is amazing, staff are so friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking right outside and disabled spaces. Sitting inside to eat your food or to takeaway. wooden benches outside for sitting at to eat your food.10 out of 10 from me.

This was my father's second visit to this restaurant, he is 75 years old and quite fussy. He absolutely loves their steak, peas, and mashed potatoes with vegetables. Unfortunately, the service with a smile that he used to receive is no longer there. Thank you, and we hope for a better experience next time.

Can't thank The Cottage enough for the wonderful afternoon teas they supplied as a surprise for my sister's Birthday/Retirement. A lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes along with tasty sausage rolls and plain scones as requested (jam and cream included). Also loved the ones specially made for the children. My sister along with all the family thoroughly enjoyed our tasty treat. My thanks once again.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while waiting for the bus to Largs on Monday, June 27th, 2022. The entrance at the back of the building is lovely, with outdoor wooden seating. The breakfast we had was enjoyable, despite my toast being a bit overdone. The Tattie och was well-seasoned and not too greasy. My chicken soup was flavorful, though it could have been warmer. The staff added cream to it, making it just right. The restaurant also serves quality sorbet ice cream, though I prefer the ice cream from Esplanade Caffe. Overall, a pleasant dining experience. Just be cautious of the crack in the disabled toilet seat.
