"Je loopt er niet zo maar in, vanuit het museum althans. Maar we kwamen er. In principe heb je er als je aan het raam zit zicht op het water van de Alster. Dat is waar. Maar ruimzicht kun je het niet noemen. De lunch die we hadden was gemiddeld, de warme geitenkaas lekker maar weing, de pasta behoorlijk standaard edoh ruim bementen. De bediening was net aan aardig en aan het slot rekende de ober behoorlijk naar zichzelf toe, daar kon maar net een verontschuldiging van af. Prijs/kwaliteit onvoldoende. Al met al het slechtste museumrestaurant so far. Jammer."

Amazed about this little place inside the Kunsthalle museum. Great service and the food was very original full of flavor and with a touch of German tradition! It is worth it to try! With a nice view!

A friend and I had a feeling of hunger too late and found on the way to this restaurant. The staff were already clean and clean, but we got another place. The system is fine, but could be easier. The food came quite fast and was delicious

Vi hadde en lang lunsj der når vi var på jentetur. God service, deilig mat og utrolig god dessert. Jeg spiste tynne skiver med kjøtt med salat og to ulike dressinger. Min venninne hadde kyllingsalaten og den var også god. Og sjokoladekaken til dessert var himmelsk :)

Beautiful atmosphere, good service and high quality food, at reasonable prices. During the museum hours there is a cheaper lunch offer, in the evening there are slightly higher prices for first-class à la carte agebote. For us this is the place to make an art hall visit. My recommendation.

Wir hatte ein super abend im Cube,das Menue war spanisch angehaucht und sehr passend zur gezeigten austellung in der hamburger Kunsthalle.Geschmorter tintenfischLinsensuppe mit chorizoZander auf rattatouieUnd crema catalanaVon der menge her vieleicht schon fast zu viel,aber sehr sehr lecker.Der Service stets aufmerksam,freundlich und mit einer guten portion humor gewürzt.Wir kommen wieder!!!

Quite simply: the food was great and service was swift.The place is more than okay, and the waiters are über super. I suppouse I behaved badly because my waiter asked that if I understand German or English at all and just left the scene. My apologies!I find it my delight to see why so many in the service sector do enjoy their work and do it professionally. I understand that in London or in Paris the daily life might be hectic but nevertheless you get great service and big smile!For tourists: try this place!

Was tired and a bit hungry after walking the whole afternoon and going through the Hamburg museum.... The place was about to close but they saw that I needed to eat a snack and so floor manager said "it us an emergency. we need to make someone happy!".... got my poppy cake, ice cream and coffee fast and efficiently. Nice place to relax by after the museum... chat with friends... not expensive at all. I paid Euro 8.70 for all three items plus the service. They are closed on Mondays though and pack up exactly at 5pm.
