"thalio came a little time ago to bridgnorth and took residency in the falken. since our first visit it has become a firm favorite. eating is with the best of the “Schmuck-Food” restaurants in birmingham and we constantly enjoy the. Top-class tandem in offer. the employees are dedicated and enthusiastic and take care of themselves clearly in both presentation, ingredients and taste. this is not their “pill it high” approach for eating it is finest Indian restaurants best. we keep saying that we are so happy to have thalio in bridgnorth, and with the summer approaching and providing a large outside dog friendly escaping area, we will drive there more often down."

good food, great flavors. order a good selection of small plates, as all looked very good. no complain about food quality or taste. not large edible, but portions were small for the price calculated.

Brilliant food and service. The staff really take the time to engage with you and answer any questions that you have. The vegetarian sharer for a starter was delicious and as a non vegetarian I would highly recommend

Great place, excellent food and friendly staff. We've been here ALOT since we discovered it after moving to the area and have never had a bad meal. Don't listen to the reviews complaining about price, you get what you pay for which is quality food!...Highly recommended.

had an excellent meal here with my family recently and have nothing but praise. Eating is exceptional and service is great. the menu is not the type they see on the high street, but authentic Asian street food. different and delicious. the environment is wonderful,...too

good food and good atmosphere. can be very busy, but they still provide a very good service. we had a sharing starboard that was beautiful, followed by a curry both were very good. only one critique is with other Indians. restaurants the naan brote are quite small, so if they usually share one, then they do not need one.

Myself and my family have been fortunate enough to eat at this restaurant on several occasions. The food and service is exceptional. When we found out they would be offering Christmas dinner we jumped at the chance. So not only do the offer amazing Asian...cuisine they also do truly remarkable course Christmas dinner experience. I really can not recommend this place highly enough

This was a wedding reception meal accommodating all requests and bespoke planning. Mizan and his team consolidate the finest craftsmanship of Asian cuisine presented with flair and ferments of distant shores! This has to be the best place to eat in Bridgnorth so book early...and make this a special occasion as we all did and will continue to. Highly recommended and send all our best wishes from, Westley, Lee, and the wedding party. x

Upon arrival we were asked to sit and left for a while, someone else then asked if we had been looked after, took us to our table, he mouthed a swear word to us not being seated straightaway! Order was rushed by server and then...we kept getting incorrect items come to the table, food was ok just very chaotic and no order to people serving knowing who or what to do, we were never asked how the food was but others were, some staff were abrupt and we didn’t feel very welcome

Yet again Thalio produced a fabulous meal. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and as usual the staff very welcoming. A lovely South Indian soup started the meal, followed by a trio of lobster, king prawn and crab. Traditional chicken Korma and a spiced lamb curry...followed, all delicious. The trio of deserts included a chocolate samosa. The whole meal was delicious and it was obvious that a great deal of thought and careful preparation had gone into the food and indeed the whole evening. Thank you Thalio for a lovely evening.

"Beautifull hotel, I guess one can call it trendy , but I just don 't understand how they can justify the price £130/night and that most of the time will go to £160 as they run out of entry level ones. So I guess the answer is there because people pay for it! But let 's just make some relevant comparisons Birmingham Grand literally in the heart of the city, brand new, 5* hotel, with all recently decorated rooms to the highest standard is £135 15 for breakfast. Needless to say rooms are air conditioned, fully equipped and genuinelly very posh. Hotel has lifts, has porters and the service is top notch. The Lion is barelly 4* just for trendiness alone, but the actual quality of furnishing is closer to 3*, has no lift and you will be lugging your bags up and down mutiple flights of stairs (and I mean multiple like 8 going up and down) trought narrow corridors to mediocre room (nothing wrong with it just mediocre) which isn 't even air conditioned. Sorry, I just don 't get it. That said restaurant is good fully fine dining if you are into it. Althought in my oppinion it doesn 't fit into the rest of the hotel. So it is ~3.5* hotel which is very youghtfull and trendy and then you get 5* fine dining with very tiny portions for the dinner (which is not criticism of restaurant, it is very good on it 's own). In conclussion I just don 't get what niche this hotel is filling, who stays there and why. The price for the rooms should be £75 95 tops. Shreesbury is not exactly prime tourists destination either (at least shouldn 't). But it seems it is working out for them, I just would not recommend it, I would not stay in it again and it is definatelly not worth the price. Neither in isolation, nor in comparison."
