During my visit, a range of people were comfortably using the restaurant, including persons in wheelchairs. Clean and tidy, pay at the counter as you leave cash or card. Good menu options, including Steve Wilson Pies and Cumberland Sausage, of which I eat far too many already! So I opted for the small fish and chips, mushy peas, and a pot of tea. These were by far the best fish and chips I've had in Cumbria, so I'll be going again."

Wonderful thick white fish in fluffy, crispy batter. The female member of staff was very chatty and friendly whilst we waited.

Delicious fish and chips served with mushy peas and curry sauce.we had our 6 month old grandson with us and the staff accommodated us very well with the buggy!

Lovely freshly cooked fish chips! Went for a pensioners portion, plenty of both fish chips with a portion of curry sauce pot of tea. Good value thoroughly enjoyed! Will be back

What a wonderful establishment! Opens at 11 am (earlier than most); a warm welcome; friendly/helfpul staff; prompt service and ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS FISH ' 'N 'CHIPS! A real asset to lovely Carlisle!

So please we called in here. As a person who has IBS I struggle to find batter that isn 't too fatty. This batter was absolutely perfect. Fish was lovely too. Hubby said the mushy peas were spot on too. Will definitely be back.
