We had a lovely family lunch, the place was suitable for 2 young children and we particularly appreciated how they welcomed our dog and automatically brougt him water.

Hosted a baby shower here. The staff were friendly, professional, helpful, flexible. They allowed us to stay longer and were flexible with our food and drinks order. Thank you

Nice ambiance. 10 min wait for a **** Mary when no one waiting at bar! Fish pie was tasty Cauliflower side was hard so no even al dente. So 2 mains and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc £110! Not worth it!

I went for my birthday lunch. The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly and very professional. The food and drink were delicious and everyone in my party of 15 had a really good time.

Absolutely dreadful food! My child 's burger had raw meat, my 'south coast plaice ' arrived 15 minutes after my Husband and childs orders, with a terrible lump of 'sea herb butter ', and part of the order was also missing (samphire)!. The waiter agreed with all the issues and offered us alternatives and/or free desserts (which we turned down) and so he advised that we would not need to pay the bill.

Hi, We went there for an 8pm dinner. The staff although friendly seemed a bit young and inexperienced. We were seated at 8pm at our table, no cutlery no menus. At 8.20 we asked for them. The food took ages and we were given the dessert menus at 10pm at which time they came back saying the chefs had left?! So they took back the menus. They either need more staff or with more experience to manage it better.

We had been before for Sunday lunch with family and enjoyed our food and visit. However this last visit for lunch was very disappointing...we waited 40 minutes for our food and the waiter was disinterested and surly. And there were only one or two tables of customers. There was little vegetarian choice even though we'd checked the menu online first. We were told that the menu had changed and that was that. Having said that the food was delicious particularly the Tagliatelle!

Fire Stables accommodated our large group of friends earlier in December for a Christmas celebration. We paid a deposit and made our pre orders online from the festive menu, which was straightforward and meant that everything was organised well on the night. The Christmas party menu offered something for everyone and it seemed like each member of our party was happy with their selections. The portions were plentiful I found dessert a struggle so 2 courses would have been adequate for me. The staff were attentive and friendly and a good time was had by all.

Lovely location and we had a table at the front with the windows open to the street so nice position apart from food getting cold quickly. Sadly despite when booking stating I was gluten free, there was no acknowledgment of this on arrival and no attempt when I reminded them, to point out what was gf etc. No gf symbols on the menu. I ordered the roast beef and reminded them that I was gluten free. My food arrived with no Yorkshire pudding (as expected) but totally dry with no gravy or meat juices. I was v surprised that no attempt had been made to make me some gf gravy or even put some meat juices on the meat. The roast beef was rare and v nice but to eat a dry meal wasn’t nice. No attempt w...
