"Delicious food. Service lets it down. Staff are nice and polite but further training needed as they are busy and you quickly get forgotten. Starters came quickly and mains but had to wait over an hour for them to take away the dishes despite being asked 4 times if we can order desert and needed the plates taken away. This place could be phenomenal if they just had a bit more care for their customers. It’s unpleasant waiting around for an hour for a simple task of taking away dishes"

I often stop for lunch when passing...Gavin Katie have got it right. Excellent chef who really knows how to turn classic fusion cooking into something special without it costing the earth. If you're in the area you should cancel your plans and try to go here. It's brilliant. The food is superb, the service is very attentive but not overbearing. The menu isn't huge but that's a good thing because it means what they do serve is freshly made and done well. The lamb fricassee was one of the best things I've eaten this year. The children's menu is good too with decent portions. I wish there was a place like this near where we live. Go try for yourself.
