"An absolute local gem! This place is high end dining in a cosy small front room, only 10 seats. This in my opinion only adds to the charm. You have to make sure to book potentially well in advance due to it being only having 10 covers but boy is it worth waiting for! We actually managed to book a table only 2 days in advance so it can be done but don 't take for granted that there will be a table available, always book well in advance if you want to guarantee a table normally. The owners are a husband and wife team, the husband is the chef and everything we ate was delicious! The wife is so welcoming and great with the table service. We felt very well looked after and enjoyed a very delightful night out at this bijoux little restaurant. Thank you Hathaways for a wonderful birthday dinner out!"

"kapelle house offers something special and is one of our favorite places to visit. it is located in the heart of the beautiful medieval village dunster. from the original and imaginative device to the lush aromas in their homemade furnishings, this is really more than just a caffe! the furniture consists of a series of quirky tables and chairs with interesting tops (they have to visit to find out what! . with unique, individual salt pepper sets, miniature milk bottles and urns (which can now be bought and the imaginative light fittings, the love to detail is brilliant! the two young owners have worked so hard as they have taken over the facility in the last summer and their drive and their determinedness has certainly paid off! what was once a boring village shop is now a flourishing hub of the common. they will always receive a warm, friendly welcome and a first-class service (that they expect from a first-class restaurant, but rather often do not receive! . besides the excellent food, the carpal house offers a series of original gifts, household goods and traditional toys, all too cheap trips. we can not recommend the carpentry enough, except to say that they have to pay a visit! Well done to you young, it's great!"

"Wonderful atmosphere, we went on a cold evening between xmas and new year and it was snug and cosy. The food was amazing and the cocktails are highly recommended (especially the Dryad Gin based ones! . Great service and all round a fab meal in a brilliant setting. A perfect place for a special meal. Good vegetarian options as well,"

"very nice restaurant. very good food. we had dinner on Sundays, and the bratkartoffeln and the petersnip were probably among the best I had. brot and butter pudding was big enough to share (if they had one). they have to book for Sunday meals. price is reasonable and service is very good."

"We stopped off here for breakfast on our way home from holiday. Two of us are veggie/vegan and one not. There were loads of veggie and vegan options with a really nice varied menu for drinks and food. Not badly priced and nice seating. Free parking for an hour on the road outside (if you can get a space! We got there when they opened at 10am, by 11am it was very busy. The two ladies who served us were really lovely. Definitely visit if you can vegan/veggie or not!"
